Precision Garage Door has always been dedicated to bringing you REAL, fair and honest reviews. We receive reviews from our customers through many different mediums. To make our reviews more transparent, we have decided to reveal how exactly these reviews get here.

Types of Reviews

This review was a "Report Card Submission". We ask our customers to fill out a "report card", like the one pictured below, at the completion of every job. The star rating is an average of how the technician performed in knowledge, promptness, courtesy, ability to finish the job quickly and in one visit, clean up of the job site and overall quality of the finished work. To add transparency to our business we make these public on our website.

At the completion of every job we ask our customers to review our business on our website. Their comments are reviewed manually for inappropriate language and then posted to the website unedited.

This review was a "Telephone Submission". Often after work is completed we conduct a telephone survey to ensure complete satisfaction with the work we did. With permission, Comments from these calls are transcribed and displayed on our website.

This review was an "E-mail Submission". Sometimes our customers send us emails to let us know more about how we performed. With their permission these are posted to the site.

This review was a "Postal Mail Submission". Our customers send us letters through traditional postal mail reviewing our performance. When they do, we transcribe it and place it on our website.

Leon, I apologize for any inconvenience that you had. As we are all human beings, we do make mistakes and errors do occur, and that is unfortunate. To confirm though, we did come out the same day you called and fixed the issue.

Precision was just great. It was about the best service job I could ask for, at a good price, too. They agreed to come the next morning (from a 3pm call the previous day), arrived on time, and called 20 minutes
before they arrived (I really wish all service folks would do that). They installed a new opener and replaced some old parts on my old set-up and it works like new. There was no hard sell at all. They cleaned up and left the place cleaner than it was to start, and removed all
the leftover parts. The technician really knew his stuff and did what I consider a craftsman-level job. The technician worked straight through and finished in about 3 hours, explained everything to me and offered to answer any questions later. I recommend them 100%. I have no
connection with Precision, I'm just a happy customer in Bridgewater (NJ). I called later with a question about remote-programming and they answered it right away. I would use Precision again in a heartbeat.I've been through a ton of service people on my old house over 20+ years (with some real horror storied) and rate Precision as #1 without hesitation, no kidding.

Tim, a capable Technician did a good job re-cabling the door and replacing the rollers to restore smooth door operation with some higher quality parts (rollers,lift cables, and springs). After reconsideration of the price to repair a single door for $750 is however a bit much, and although your Tech's 'Know-How' is a Plus I hesitate to recommend your Service when it comes to cost, which I feel was excessive...so not a 5. On second thought I probably should have gotten a second cost estimate.

This would have been a 5 star review with the

Vince diagnosed the problem on our old Garage Door opener. It would be too costly to fix. As a result, he quickly installed the new Garage Door Opener. So far, we’ve had no problems.
