Precision Garage Door has always been dedicated to bringing you REAL, fair and honest reviews. We receive reviews from our customers through many different mediums. To make our reviews more transparent, we have decided to reveal how exactly these reviews get here.

Types of Reviews


This review was a "Report Card Submission". We ask our customers to fill out a "report card", like the one pictured below, at the completion of every job. The star rating is an average of how the technician performed in knowledge, promptness, courtesy, ability to finish the job quickly and in one visit, clean up of the job site and overall quality of the finished work. To add transparency to our business we make these public on our website.


At the completion of every job we ask our customers to review our business on our website. Their comments are reviewed manually for inappropriate language and then posted to the website unedited.

This review was a "Telephone Submission". Often after work is completed we conduct a telephone survey to ensure complete satisfaction with the work we did. With permission, Comments from these calls are transcribed and displayed on our website.

This review was an "E-mail Submission". Sometimes our customers send us emails to let us know more about how we performed. With their permission these are posted to the site.

This review was a "Postal Mail Submission". Our customers send us letters through traditional postal mail reviewing our performance. When they do, we transcribe it and place it on our website.

I had my install done today-I chose Precision because they had 24/7 service, had real people answering the phone and were able to get the job done within a day. Marc called and let me know when he was on his way which I always appreciate. He was professional, courteous, and explained the different openers.He swept the garage when the job was complete and answered any questions I had after install. These small things let you know the company cares about the job they do.

I had a complete garage door overhaul in June. The door began to make unusual noises. Scott McDonald came to assess the problem. He was a very polite technician. He looked over the door thoroughly and explained the reason for the noise. Scott corrected the problem. He thanked me for the business and apologized for the problem. He proved to be a loyal and considerate employee for the Precision Door Service Company.

Tim came to inspect my three garage doors after one of the springs had snapped. Since our home was 10 years old the doors were out of balance, the springs, rollers, cables, safety cables and pulleys were all failing. He showed me where the cables were fraying and how out of balance all the pulleys were. He recommended to perform a Precision Door Service rebuild on all three doors.

He had all the parts necessary to do the work on the initial call. Amazing - with other contracters they usually have to order the parts and come back. He worked by himself, neatly and extremely professional. Performing the Precision Door Service rebuild on all three garage doors provided me with a lifetime warranty on all the replacement parts. That was the best part.

My garage doors are a lot quieter and safer now. Tim was great with his explanation of the problems and actually showing me what the problems were. I would definitely use Precision Door Service again and always ask for Tim Rainey as my technician. He performed an extremely professional courteous job. Thank you. He deserves 10 stars.

I couldn't be more pleased with the services performed by Kenneth VanHarken.
He performed an inspection of the garage door and explained, in very clear terms, the issues involved. This was a big plus to a "non do-it yourselfer".
His explanation of the options available, warranty information again were clear and concise.
The services were performed quickly and professionally.
He also went into great detail in the use of the new equipment along with the safety features. He also went so far as to program two vehicles to operate the new garage door opener.
With the repairs, the door operates smoothly and quietly.
Excellent job! If I could, I would give six stars.

I was impressed with the speed with which the initial response came from the google inquiry. I was further impressed by the speed with which I was contacted and a service rep was on site.

The technision was very good. I'm sorry to have forgotten his name already. I have his card, but it's not handy right now. He has even offered to assist me with setting my garage door opener in my car when I get back to FL.
