Precision Garage Door has always been dedicated to bringing you REAL, fair and honest reviews. We receive reviews from our customers through many different mediums. To make our reviews more transparent, we have decided to reveal how exactly these reviews get here.

Types of Reviews


This review was a "Report Card Submission". We ask our customers to fill out a "report card", like the one pictured below, at the completion of every job. The star rating is an average of how the technician performed in knowledge, promptness, courtesy, ability to finish the job quickly and in one visit, clean up of the job site and overall quality of the finished work. To add transparency to our business we make these public on our website.


At the completion of every job we ask our customers to review our business on our website. Their comments are reviewed manually for inappropriate language and then posted to the website unedited.

This review was a "Telephone Submission". Often after work is completed we conduct a telephone survey to ensure complete satisfaction with the work we did. With permission, Comments from these calls are transcribed and displayed on our website.

This review was an "E-mail Submission". Sometimes our customers send us emails to let us know more about how we performed. With their permission these are posted to the site.

I am so happy to find a company that takes pride in their work It was such a pleasure to meet Mr. Tim Rainey the service technician. The service call was to repair broken hinges on my garage door. Mr. Rainey went over and beyond my expectations with the repair. He made sure that every thing was to my satisfaction before he left my house.He is very professional,honest and sincere. He explained everything that needed to be done. I was impressed by the 18 point safety checklist they use to check that the door is working properly. I highly recommend this company.

Gal who made the appointment said 8:00 AM - 12:00 pm The confirming e-mail said 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM Marc called at about 11:45 and apologized because he was running late and would be here in 45 minutes. From "hello", this company sounded different, it sounded competent! The person on the phone was very much aware of the pressures people like me have when calling service providers. She did everything she could to assure me the work would be competently performed to what was needed and the technician would be equipped with any parts needed. She told me who was coming, sent email photo of the installer; this installer called me 30 minutes before arrival and got to the problem immediately which required a tightening of the main springs which is not something most people should attempt to do on their own. I also learned it is not a good idea to lubricate the parts with WD-40, which I had read and previously been advised but this was good to hear. The service was 2X better than Overhead Door and DoorBoy and the cost was much simpler and app 40% - 50% less. I immediately referred our Association President to this excellent company.

Brandon is the best!! He was here in July to replace rollers/cables/springs and we were 100% happy with the service he provided. When we had a problem with the system that actually pulls the door open (sprocket broke, chain drooped), we called and requested Brandon. Once again, he was super friendly, efficient and explained the different options we had. This guy rocks and I'd recommend him to anyone that needs garage opener repairs or installation.

I had a garage door that would not go up. I had installed a new system a couple of years through Precision and was very happy with it. Unfortunately, the original poor quality spring was 16 years old and decided to break in the middle. Kyle installed a good quality spring and gave me a lifetime guarantee. When we sell new garage doors to our customers we typically recommend to to upgrade the hardware ( springs cables, pulleys, rollers etc) Sometimes its hard to make a customer realize that the news parts are not made to last.
