Precision Garage Door has always been dedicated to bringing you REAL, fair and honest reviews. We receive reviews from our customers through many different mediums. To make our reviews more transparent, we have decided to reveal how exactly these reviews get here.

Types of Reviews


This review was a "Report Card Submission". We ask our customers to fill out a "report card", like the one pictured below, at the completion of every job. The star rating is an average of how the technician performed in knowledge, promptness, courtesy, ability to finish the job quickly and in one visit, clean up of the job site and overall quality of the finished work. To add transparency to our business we make these public on our website.


At the completion of every job we ask our customers to review our business on our website. Their comments are reviewed manually for inappropriate language and then posted to the website unedited.

This review was a "Telephone Submission". Often after work is completed we conduct a telephone survey to ensure complete satisfaction with the work we did. With permission, Comments from these calls are transcribed and displayed on our website.

This review was an "E-mail Submission". Sometimes our customers send us emails to let us know more about how we performed. With their permission these are posted to the site.

This review was a "Postal Mail Submission". Our customers send us letters through traditional postal mail reviewing our performance. When they do, we transcribe it and place it on our website.

This was warranty service call. One of the springs broke on one of the two Garage doors Precision installed a few years earlier. The two service techs did a great job. They replaced all four springs, adjusted weather seals and made sure the doors work like new. Thank you very much.

I had two new openers installed and then the two doors needed rollers springs etc......and one unit needed to be re-fastened to the ceiling......

Our garage door opener suddenly stopped working over the weekend - motor ran, but no movement despite intact cables/pulleys. Called on Monday morning and was thrilled that someone was able to come the following day. Tim Rainey, the service tech, was great. Friendly, knowledgeable,able to clearly explain our options (including prices/warranties/pros&cons), able to answer any question, enthusiastic about his work, took the time to help sync our car to the new opener via HomeLink. On top of all that, he was efficient and left no boxes/wires/materials behind. We will certainly recommend Precision to friends & neighbors.

My garage door was stuck because I left the hatch of my CR-V up and blocked the door!! Called Precision and was so pleased with the courteous service I received on the phone. I was told they would be here between 1 and 2 p.m., but actually came early!!!!!!!! My tech's name was Scott McDonald. He was also very courteous and so helpful. I had my install done today-I chose Precision because they had 24/7 service, had real people answering the phone and were able to get the job done within a day. Marc called and let me know when he was on his way which I always appreciate. He was professional, courteous, and explained the different openers.He swept the garage when the job was complete and answered any questions I had after install. I was treated respectfully and attentively. Tim reviewed all the areas of concern and explained everything to my satisfaction so I could make a sound decision. The work was well done and the garage left in good order. I got a call earlier than my scheduled appt. to see if the job could be done sooner in the day since my car was trapped in the garage. He replaced broken springs, pulleys, etc. and installed a new opener.

When I needed repairs to my garage door openers, I had no idea where to go. (Don't use Angie's list!) So I let my fingers do the walking through the Yellow Pages. I chose Precision because of their ad primarily and was incredibly glad I did. Their receptionist was simply sweet and scheduled my appointment quickly and conveniently for me. Scott B , the technician, called me beforehand to let me know he was running a bit early and asked if coming early was okay with me. When he got to my home he was truly a gentleman, moving aside to let me go by, cleaning his feet coming into the door, etc. He respected my home and me! He answered any questions I had and offered suggestions to meet my needs. I love Precision and would recommend you to my friends and family.
