I was very pleased with the service provided by Drew. He was professional, cordial, cheerful, and provided me with good information on the diagnosis and prognosis of my garage door problem. He fixed the problem quickly. I strongly recommend that you address the issue of your fees. Your pricing structure is very confusing (and a little bit deceptive). There's a "service call," "labor charge," although if you need parts, the labor charge is included in the cost of parts. Is that right? I think you need to tell the customer the following: 1. For a technician to visit your home, the initial charge is $69.00. That is the cost/charge/fee for one of our technicians to travel to your home, even before any work is done. 2. Our technicians get $100/hour for their time that cannot be divided into portions of an hour. If a technician works on your garage doors for 1 minute or 60 minutes, you will be charged $100. 3. I can't suggest a change to your labor/parts explanation because I'm still not sure what it is. I hope to hear back from you to address my suggestions. Thank you for allowing me post my opinions.

Great service by the technician. (Five stars) I forgot his name but he did introduce himself. Explained everything about the product and what he was doing. I needed to have weather stripping installed, replaced old stripping, this is not a choice give below for service performed. There were issues with receipt of email confirmation of appointment. It all turned-out ok though. Due to the email confirmation, I had to give it a 4 star review. Marie C.

Did not push me and even told me my present garage door was a good quality. Once I agreed to the upgrade he completed the job right then.

Andrew (Drew) came out today to assess my broken garage door. The cable had snapped so we were in need of repair. He did an excellent job at detailing all of the repairs that were needed (either critical, or recommended) and itemized the cost/benefits of each. In the long run, I decided to have the entire system of the door rebuilt, and was thankful that Drew was so well versed and was able to explain everything to me (in lay-man's terms). Service was immediate and I have no real complaints. If I had to name one thing - I'd say the price, but who doesn't want things to be cheaper in their lives. All around, great service and I will use them again (if my other garage door needs repair). It's also a great thing to see that they stand behind their work - offering a lifetime guarantee on parts and a 5 year guarantee on labor. This was the real reason I chose to do the overhaul of the entire thing.

Although I ended up paying much more than I thought, but I am happy with the service Brandon provided, he is very professional. Overall service was excellent, truly 24x7. I called first thing on Saturday morning, team worked around there appointments schedule and confirmed Brandon will be at my house within 45mins. Right after I finished the call with the appointment, Brandon called right way and very kindly informed me that he will be at my house in 35 mins. Brandon examined all three doors and explained details of each of my options, sincerely showed how he cared about his customer and my safety. I trusted him and decided to let him do some preventative maintenance work and ended up replacing springs on two doors. Definitely would recommend Brandon to others. The reason for 4 stars is because Precision fee is higher than other companies.

Our year old garage door openers stopped working after a very close lighting strike. Scott quickly determined that we only needed to have the circuit boards replaced. Unfortunately, the truck only had room for one circuit board. Scott returned several days with what he knew was not the correct part, but said he was told it was the same. It was not. It did not include the light socket. We then had two functioning garage door openers and asymetrical lighting. Scott returned to day with the right part, reprogrammed the remotes, and everything is back to normal.

You were recommended by Norge, Union Blvd in Totowa, You are the only company we called, we never did a comparison, so I am hoping that you gave us a good price. If we find out that you did we will recommend it to friends, since we live in an adult community with over 600 units. If on the other hand I find out that we were overcharged, the outcome will be different. Your sales person was very knowledgeable. PS. My wife was a little sceptable, since we originally purchased a keypad and two remotes at Norge for only $XX.00 and I have the bill to prove it. Now we had to get a new keypad and two remotes costing more than having to put a new board in and now the new remote and keypad is universal, my wife thinks that is a shame.

I believe you will find our pricing is comparable to other service companies. Additionally our retail prices are comparable to other retail operations also. But your comparison of Norge retail pricing versus having a technician come to your home and program everything is a bit unfair. As for the remotes used, we used the only remotes and keypad liftmaster offers now for your type of older motor.

Amazing service, everything was explained adequately, service was done in a reasonable amount of time, my overall experience was extremely positive but the price to fix a garage door shouldn't be almost $1000.00

Lisa, As we discussed with you we worked on both your doors and you have a lifetime warranty.

Rich was very conscientious in rebuilding my garage door which is 56 years old. He said we will receive a lifetime warranty on the door since both springs were replaced,both pulleys replaced, bearing replaced and all rollers replaced as well. In January 2013 we had a new lift motor installed by Precision which is so very quiet when compared to the previous motor. Any additional repairs will be at no cost as long as we remain at the residence Your service has always been prompt and timely which is very much appreciated .

Hello Doug; My garage door would not open easily. After forcing it open I realized that the spring on the left side had broken and the cable had become twisted. The door was installed about twelve years ago and I could not remember who did the installation. I went to the yellow pages in the phone book and saw your add which listed a phone number for Tenafly and wanted someone local that could come right away. Tim arrived a couple of hours later and explained in detail the problem with the door and gave me options for the repair. The first option was a quick fix which was the least expensive but stated that the other spring on the right side would probably break in the near future and he would be back again to do the same repair on the right side. He also pointed out that the rollers were not in the best condition and the cables were not the right size for the door. My wife and I deceided to go with the full repair which totaled $XXX.XX which was just about what we paid for the door to begin with. Tim had all the parts with him to do the job and did it quickly. The door works better than ever. Tim did a GREAT job! The only thing I was not happy with and why I did not give a five star rating had nothing to do with Tim. I feel that if the work is being done the FULL Service Call Amount should NOT be charged. Please let me know your thoughts. When Tim called he was only in Demarest which is the next town over from Tenafly. He did not have to travel a long distance to get here. If he did have to drive a long way to get here I would understand the charge. Thank You; Bill Grieco
