Precision Garage Door has always been dedicated to bringing you REAL, fair and honest reviews. We receive reviews from our customers through many different mediums. To make our reviews more transparent, we have decided to reveal how exactly these reviews get here.

Types of Reviews


This review was a "Report Card Submission". We ask our customers to fill out a "report card", like the one pictured below, at the completion of every job. The star rating is an average of how the technician performed in knowledge, promptness, courtesy, ability to finish the job quickly and in one visit, clean up of the job site and overall quality of the finished work. To add transparency to our business we make these public on our website.


At the completion of every job we ask our customers to review our business on our website. Their comments are reviewed manually for inappropriate language and then posted to the website unedited.

This review was a "Telephone Submission". Often after work is completed we conduct a telephone survey to ensure complete satisfaction with the work we did. With permission, Comments from these calls are transcribed and displayed on our website.

This review was an "E-mail Submission". Sometimes our customers send us emails to let us know more about how we performed. With their permission these are posted to the site.

This review was a "Postal Mail Submission". Our customers send us letters through traditional postal mail reviewing our performance. When they do, we transcribe it and place it on our website.

Bob could not have been more professional and courteous. A little confusion regarding the time frame. Gal who made the appointment said 8:00 AM - 12:00 pm The confirming e-mail said 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM Marc called at about 11:45 and apologized because he was running late and would be here in 45 minutes. Bob did the excellent job to install the garage door opener, control console and wireless keypad entry system and explained to me how each unit works and how I can do the basic maintenance myself. Overall the work was professionally and neatly done.

Only complaint I have is the price quote for part + labor is a little bit more than I expected. Other than that, I am pretty happy with the whole experience.

I originally called to have the mounting bracket for the garage door opener repaired as the 2x4 used in the original mounting had split out and the door wasn’t opening/closing correctly (ran up/down very rough). Ron came out earlier today and made the repair. He tested the door several times and it worked perfectly. Unfortunately, after he left the garage door opener stopped working (i.e., would run, but not open/close the door at all). What he couldn’t have known was that the sprocket gear in the old opener was destroyed (likely due to age compounded by the issues we had been having due to the mounting bracket problem). I called the office and he was able to come back late this afternoon when he finished another call. He provided his advice and I determined the best course of action was to install a new garage door opener (rather than put a lot of money into repairing an old one). He stayed until after 7pm (the night before Thanksgiving) to finish the job! He was very friendly and professional and did a very neat installation. I would definitely recommend Precision Garage Door, and specifically Ron, to anyone needing service.
