We contacted Precision today because the overhead motor on our garage door was making a grinding noise. We have used Precision Door Company in the past and have been very satisfied. After our technician, Sean evaluated the issue, he told us that it could be repaired or replaced. Since these motors (both overhead doors) were over 25 years old, we decided to replace them. What a great decision! The new motors are so quiet and have more up to date features than the old ones Sean explained how to program the key pads and did all of the installation work in an efficient manner. I have used Precision Door in the past and they are my "go to". Matt Dewald came out today to check out my cracking noise from one door and also to bolt the hanging brace to the ceiling on the other door. He called ahead, was on time, inspected everything and honestly told me I could get by with the one cracking door that had been replaced by the snowplow driver 13 years ago. He visually showed me what the problem was. He also explained that I could consider replacing just 2 panels on the door since they were cracked, or consider the whole door replacement with the proper hardware that had not been used in the original replacement. He was polite, efficient, careful with proper pricing, and personable. It was a pleasure talking with Matt, knowing he was knowledgeable, concerned about being fair, careful in his estimate, and efficient and articulate. I would not hesitate to contact Precision Door in the future. I feel better knowing Matt was out to gave me his opinion and shared his expertise.
