This week, I finally decided to buy (vs. repair) my garage doors and scheduled estimate visits with three companies. I met with the first one yesterday; Precision today; and the third scheduled for Monday. No need. I made my decision and have signed a contract based on my interaction with the Precision rep (“Jimmy”) who arrived on time and then took his time to do what I saw as a very detailed inspection. He was also very personable and patient with me and my many questions throughout this process, which I appreciated. This job hasn’t even started but gets five stars in my eyes for customer service alone.

Tommy our repairman was excellent!! Also, I am not sure if it was luck, but the response from Precision was swift. Tommy was at our house well within the time frame we were given. He offered us different options to select from for the repair of our automatic garage door. He was very professional and once he fixed the door, he didn’t just leave fast. He ensured the door was working properly multiple times in front of us. The door even closes smoother than before. We totally recommend Precision! And much thanks to Tommy!

I can't recommend John highly enough! My garage door opener decided to die last night, and John came out quickly to assess the situation. He went above and beyond, trying every possible way to fix the existing opener to save me the expense of a replacement. Unfortunately, it was beyond repair, but I truly appreciated his honest advice and thorough explanation of the issue. When it came to replacing the opener, John was efficient, professional, and clearly very knowledgeable. He installed the new system perfectly, ensured it was working flawlessly, and even took the time to show me how to use all the features. It's rare to find someone who is not only skilled at what they do but also genuinely cares about providing great service. Kevin from Precision Garage Door Service came out to look at my garage door that no longer opened. He quickly identified the problem and suggested solutions. Another great experience with Precision. We ran into one of the sensors in our garage on a Sunday. I didn't think anyone would answer when I called. Customer service was helped me schedule an appointment asap. Kevin was professional, respectful, knowledgeable and efficient. He fixed the sensor and remounted both sensors further away from the ground which makes it easier for me to back out of my garage without hitting it. I really appreciated the service and highly recommend.

Thank you Thomas Sackmann from Precision. Our garage door had become life threatening to our family: it fell down a few times; we were afraid to open it. Thomas Sackmann, the Precision tech, came on time, analyzed and explained the situation, did not try to upsell, and presented a detailed choice of 4 estimates with different repairs and warranty time-frame. We chose one, and two hours later, the door was fixed, and safe. Thomas manners and workmanship were impeccable. From start to finish, this was one of the best experience with a home repair company in NJ. Highly recommended.

We had an excellent experience with Precision last week. We called and explained what we needed a new door, motor, parts for our garage in our new home. Precision arranged for a visit to give us an estimate. Tommy arrived on time talked us through the process, gave us a very fair estimate and even recommended that we didn't need to replace our door and they could make our current door work just fine. One week later he returned to install a motor, replace all the parts and made the door safe and operable and ready to use. He was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Tommy completed the job in around 2 hours and took extra time to make sure I understood how the door worked, safety features etc. He was also mindful and cleaned up all of the debris from the install when he was done. The company provides excellent communication when confirming appointments, tracking the technicians arrival etc. Tommy went above and beyond to make sure that the install went perfectly. We really appreciate the service and will refer our friends and family to Precision because of our positive experience with Tommy and the customer service representative over the phone.

What can I say about Precision Door Service. I called because I used Precision before and was impressed by their fast response after my first call, as well as, their workers, including customer service. Firstly, the estimator Tammy Dehaan was awesome, she understood my dire needs and urgency due to the damage caused by the Ida storm. Secondly, Wilmer, the garage door expert/installer was pleasant and completed the installation of my remote garage door in a timely fashion, the job was done neatly/professionally, he answered all my questions/concerns with a pleasant attitude and Wilmer stated that I am not to hesitate to call Precision Doors if I have any issues with the garage doors. I called Precision to repair a snapped cable. I got a text when the tech was on the way which gave me time to move the cars & get ready. When Brian arrived he showed me that the cable snapped because of old pulleys and pointed out a few other parts that were worn and would eventually cause problems. I agreed to a full rebuild (new cables, pulleys, springs, & rollers) and now my old noisy garage door works quieter & smoother than it ever did before. I should have done this a long time ago! Brian was great, and I thought the price was very fair considering the door now works like a brand new one.

my garage door went kaput late Friday afternoon. These guys were here fixing the problem first thing Sunday morning. Everything was clearly explained to me and all of my options (long vs short term, $ vs $$$) were laid out for me. The technician was friendly, polite, knowledgeable and most of all, I felt he dealt pretty straight with me. Did I want to spend $900+ on garage door repairs? No, but I'm glad I called Precision when I needed to get the job done quickly and done right.
