Booking process (online) was easy and straightforward. Communication was excellent (confirmation, reminders, "on the way"). Provided a photo of the tech - nice touch from a safety perspective. The technician (Jonathan) arrived on time and listened to the issues I was running into with the door. His inspection was thorough and he explained what needed to be repaired/replaced and the options (and what really needed to be done vs what was optional). After he completed the work, he explained and showed what he had done and made sure I was happy with everything. He even left me with a can of spray lubricant and showed me how to care for the rollers. Would definitely recommend. Will use them again if needed.

We had Precision install a new door replacing our old wooden door some years ago. Each time we've called for service, Precision has immediately arranged for an appointment. On each occasion the technician assigned to the case arrived at the scheduled time and proceeded to cure the problem. I booked online on Thursday because the service call was free. Jon Wilson arrived at 12:00 on Friday. He was courteous, informative, professional and patient with us. Garage Door cable snapped at 6:00pm on a Friday night; called Precision Saturday at around noon, explained the problem. I was told by the Pompton PLains location that they could handle the problem and get someone to my house between 2:00 and 6:00. Immediately after hanging up, the appointment was confirmed via Text and e-mail so I knew there would be no miscommunication about the appointment; this was followed up by a text from the Service Manager (Rob). They assigned the work order to their Service Tech, Jon Wilson who called me at 1:40 advising he was 25 minutes away (arrived at 2:05); I also received confirmation messages from Precision that Jon was on his way. Upon arrival, Jon and I reviewed the “problem door” as well as the 2nd garage door. He inspected both doors and gave me 3 repair options (Good, Better, Best); we selected the “Better” option. Jon immediately went to work and kept me informed what he was doing and changing/fixing (we had him replace the Springs, Cables, Rollers, and secure Railing brackets that came dislodged when the cable snapped). I have to say, Jon was EXCELLENT and was extremely attentive to his work, and checked everything THOROUGHLY upon completion, went over everything with me and asked if I had any questions. Can’t put enough praise on Precision and especially Jon for his excellent work and HIGHLY RECOMMEND Precision if you have any issue with your garage Door!!
