Two years ago I realized that my almost 50 year old wood garage doors would not make it through another winter, so I called Precision very fearful of what the cost would be. I was very pleasantly surprised at the reasonable if not low cost of these new doors which included all new hardware. The installation was completely done in one day (actually less), and the doors are insulated and sealed all around. The cold draft I used to have was gone. I have had two minor issues. The one door I had as manual was a little hard to open and would slam shut. Precision came out and replaced the springs and now the door is perfect. This week, the door with the electric opener was slamming shut. I called precision and they came out the same morning, found where there was binding and repaired it, all still under warranty.

Michael, from Precision Overhead Garage Door Service arrived at my residence to assist me with a busted cable that wrapped around one of the pulley wheels, creating an unsafe situation. He examined the situation and cautioned me of the hazard that was existing in my garage with a spring that was still under tension. He then gave me his assestment of what safety measures we needed and he made the repairs. His expertise was vital in repairing the door to normal operations and suggested additional safety measures and maintainance tips to continue into the future.

Saw your trucks all over and also on social media. Then I found out you were located in Pompton Plains and we wanted to support local businesses. Our garage door opener broke down on Saturday afternoon. We scheduled an appointment with Precision for 10 AM the following day (Sunday). Mike arrived right on time, and had the door repaired and working again by 11 AM. Our garage door opener had not been operating properly for several days. It would open but we could not get it to close. Sometimes it would operate properly for a day or two and then not close at all after opening on another day. We made an appointment with the Precision office and they came as soon as possible on a Sunday afternoon. We had the pleasure of having Michael Dillion a the service techincian who came to our home today, ontime as scheduled. He was able to quickly ascertain the reason for the malfunction of our garage door opener. He was very knowledgeable and courteous in explaining what was happening with our opener. He discussed the solution to our problem and suggested that because of its age, it was byond its life expectancy. He recommened a new unit and had it installed in an hour or less. It is a great unit, and comes with a lifetime guarantee! We had Micheal replace another of our openers just over a year ago and were delighted that he was the tech who did our work again today. We highly recommend Precision and Michael Dillion for his exellent work. Should we have any problems in the future, and we hope we don't, we would want to have Michael Dillon again.

These guys are great! I woke up to my fiancé unable to open the garage door and get her car out and immediately went online and placed an appointment to have it looked at. The manager, Rob, reached out to me within minutes to learn more about the issue, and the tech, Mike, was at my house within a couple hours. Mike explained everything that was wrong, what could cause problems for me in the future, and created 3 different quotes to best fit my needs. After confirming what I wanted done, Mike already had all the necessary parts and was able to complete the job (which was pretty much everything but the door itself) in a couple hours. He even re-spliced the wire for the sensor on my other door free of charge! Afterwards, he went over everything he did one more time and showed me how it all operates. Will definitely be using them again when my other door goes!
