Kevin Stasiak, a technician from Precision Door, showed up on time, diagnosed the existing door openers and provided options for upgrade as requested. I’ve never been disappointed with anyone on Precision’s team. They've always arrived on time and they give you a half hour notice before arriving. You’re sent an email advising who is coming including their photo. Today John came to see why my garage door wouldn’t open or close. He was very polite, professional, and knowledgeable. After checking, he saw that it was the outlet and not the motor. He was very honest and didn’t try to say it was anything more serious. I was concerned that if I lost the power connection again it would be very difficult to open and close the door manually. My HOA replaced the door several years ago with their own contractor and it wasn’t a good job. The door would just slam shut when closed manually. It wasn’t guided by a spring and it didn’t have handles to open and close manually. John explained the entire system to me and suggested a new motor system that had a battery backup. I decided to replace it immediately. I asked if he could put handles on the door. I would have to push the door up until I could get my foot under it and then lift it by hand. When shutting it the door would slam down hard. The motor he installed is amazing. The door glides up and down easily and is very quiet. It has a bright LED light that turns on as soon as I walk into the garage. He also put 2 handles on the door. The price was very reasonable and he was done in under 2 hours.

I am absolutely stunned by the professionalism, quality of product and service, workmanship and overall experience. From the first conversation with the owner who sent the proposal, to the phone operators (and texts) who kept me updated, to Ferdinand who came by himself and did a fantastic job in a timely, neat and cordial manner, Precision Garage Door deserves 5 stars and your business. My previous garage doors were uneven, unsightly and very old. There were drafts because the seals were completely open in some places and I needed to be imaginative in sealing the doors over the years. I never imagined anyone would be able to adjust a door perfectly to my pavement and home. The seal is perfect. Ferdinand worked with ease; quickly, but with supreme attention to detail. Everything is beyond my expectations. He also stayed afterwards and answered all of my questions and even offered tips and suggestions as far as maintenance. All this simply adds to the fact that the Amaar Lincoln 3000 doors are stunning to look at and I can already feel a difference in the comfort level of my garage and the rooms above it on this winter day. Thomas Sackmann was our technician. He did a great job, was very neat with the workplace, and the job met our expectations.
