Tyler Soni was very professional and courteous. I thought the pricing was high for the work that was done. The sealing on the side of the garage door that Tyler replaced is not laying flush against the door, as I expected. Tyler explained it’s bc the garage door pad is in the way. He said it may take a few days to flatten out and adjust to the positioning. We’ll see. I have a feeling we will be calling you back about this issue. Overall, the communication with the appt scheduling was very good, Tyler was very nice as well as informative, but I’m not totally satisfied with the service.

The entire process took less than 3 hours. Vincent did a quick assessment of our garage door, opener system, and rails. He laid out 4 options for us that all could be installed right away, and gave us the pros/cons. Once we decided which package we wanted he installed it right then and there. Very happy with the service and overall experience!

The open lines of communication between Rob, the service manager, and Thomas, the service technician, only enhanced the experience. The repair needs were thoroughly discussed, as were the various repair options (motor, springs, cables, rollers, keypad). Thomas Sackmann was our technician. He did a great job, was very neat with the workplace, and the job met our expectations. We needed a new Liftmaster opener after our old opener of 20+ years had a failure with a part they do not make any more. I requested 1st appointment. They called and let me know when they would arrive. John Fahey diagnosed the issues and replaced various parts and gave me several options to choose from. Work was done in a timely manner and John was very professional and explained everything before installing and then leaving.

Thomas Sackmann was a professional, personable, courteous and obviously competent technician. He asked what we thought the problem might be and about the coupon and proceeded with the maintenance check. He said everything was working, but since the motor was put in (by Precision 2007) we could consider putting in a new one and the springs also were fine, but old. Discussed with my siblings and decided for the middle motor of the three choices and to also do the springs. He told me the total plus the time it would take and was told to go ahead. After completion Thomas checked everything to see that it worked properly. Reset the keypad and two remotes. He was a pleasure and efficient. You are the company who installed the original garage door and a second door when it was hit by a car. We are more than satisfied with Precision's work.

My husband and I just moved into a beautiful house in West Orange and found that our garage door opener was not working properly. We chose Precision Garage Door Service here in NJ because of its proximity to our home and its great reviews, which are well-deserved. Ethan, who had been assigned to help us with our problem, was great. He found that the device was very old and gave us the option to replace it or have it fixed for the time being. We opted for the latter and he skillfully and swiftly fixed the problem. The company itself is very professional; Rob, the service manager, let us know that we would be alerted before Ethan's arrival. our garage door has been having issues for a while. it's always been noisy. it's always been jerky. it clunks and changs and bangs and one day recently, stopped dropping all the way to the ground. called precision and they sent ethan to check it out. he was comprehensive and easy-to-understand as he walked me through the issues he found and out options for dealing with them. then he quickly and professionally went about repairing the door's issues. suddenly, it's smooth and quiet and nothing like it was when we moved in four years ago. i'd reco ethan and precision anytime, for any problem.

I cannot be happier or more satisfied with Precision Overhead Garage Service and with Kevin S., the Senior Service Technician who came to our house to repair our garage door, which failed to open because the motor had apparently failed.
