The spring on my garage door broke, which made it unusable. I contacted Precision and they had a technician at my home the same day! Luke Stachura, the service technician, arrived with a smile and was as friendly as can be! He immediately diagnosed the issue(s), provided me with a fair price and immediately got to work. Luke explained everything to me and it was apparent he really knew his stuff! The issue was resolved quickly and the garage door is functioning better than ever! Tommy our repairman was excellent!! Also, I am not sure if it was luck, but the response from Precision was swift. Tommy was at our house well within the time frame we were given. He offered us different options to select from for the repair of our automatic garage door. He was very professional and once he fixed the door, he didn’t just leave fast. He ensured the door was working properly multiple times in front of us. The door even closes smoother than before. We totally recommend Precision! And much thanks to Tommy!

The service representative Tom Sackmann promptly evaluated the condition of my garage door and whether a certain section could be repaired. He conferred with the Precision office and together they felt the requested repair would not be effective. I sincerely appreciated the professionalism and honesty of dealing with Tom and the Precision company. They did not bill me for coming out and for that I will definitely call them when other replacement parts are required.

A couple of years ago, I used Precision to install a garage door opener on one of the garage doors. The technician did an excellent job, so in 2025, I wanted them to work on my second garage door. That says a lot when you consider Precision Door Service for garage door work. They are excellent in communication and always follow through. Really love their service.

Setting up an appointment (same day) was simple and efficient; communication was great following the initial call. My repairmen, John Fahey, was knowledgeable and friendly. He laid out a few options and went through the pros and cons of each. I initially chose to have a new garage door opener system installed and to replace all of the hardware as a large spring and cable had failed. The electrical hook up was not ideal for the new system so we opted just to replace the hardware. Although I did not get a quote from other garage repair/installation companies, I did search the price of the components installed. The mark-ups seemed pretty high compared to the prices online (even including a $200/hour installation fee). I would love a company that sold the parts at cost or a modest premium and then charged $200/hour for service, though I do not believe that is typical in this industry or similar industries (e.g. AC repair/installation).

Work was done in a timely manner and John was very professional and explained everything before installing and then leaving.

The garage door was repaired with all new components, tested and fine tuned. My upgrade has a safety cable installed as well. Tom gave me plenty of opportunities to address any concerns. Thomas Sackmann was a professional, personable, courteous and obviously competent technician. He asked what we thought the problem might be and about the coupon and proceeded with the maintenance check. He said everything was working, but since the motor was put in (by Precision 2007) we could consider putting in a new one and the springs also were fine, but old. Discussed with my siblings and decided for the middle motor of the three choices and to also do the springs. He told me the total plus the time it would take and was told to go ahead. After completion Thomas checked everything to see that it worked properly. Reset the keypad and two remotes. He was a pleasure and efficient. You are the company who installed the original garage door and a second door when it was hit by a car. We are more than satisfied with Precision's work.
