After doing some research I picked Precision Garage Door Service for replacing our 2 garage doors (over the Costco provider who was very competitive). After waiting for nearly 6 weeks, I was very excited that these were installed yesterday. Sadly 3 panels in my bigger double garge door were damaged! I was informed by the garage technician (who was very professional and polite btw) that he has filed a complaint that the replacement panels will take another 6-7 weeks! Also one of the the side trim strips was missing and the tech has now installed a white one (instead of a dark brown one) as an interim fix! it was quite disappointing to say the least. Even more surprising that no one from the company customer service bothered to even call and provide context / apologize for this poor service.

My garage door stopped working and Tyler was amazing in getting it fixed. He communicated with me throughout the day so that I knew when he would be arriving. He was courteous and thoroughly explained the issues and my options to repair. He never tried to push me to spend more money or fix more than what was necessary. He completed the job quickly and it came out perfect. He then walked me through everything he did to show me all the new parts and how it was working. Garage door has never been smoother or quieter. Tyler was also impressively neat. The garage was cleaner when he left than it was when he got there. Tyler was a pleasure to work with, true professional and a great guy. Highly recommend!!

The spring on my garage door broke, which made it unusable. I contacted Precision and they had a technician at my home the same day! Luke Stachura, the service technician, arrived with a smile and was as friendly as can be! He immediately diagnosed the issue(s), provided me with a fair price and immediately got to work. Tommy our repairman was excellent!! Also, I am not sure if it was luck, but the response from Precision was swift. Tommy was at our house well within the time frame we were given. He offered us different options to select from for the repair of our automatic garage door. He was very professional and once he fixed the door, he didn’t just leave fast. He ensured the door was working properly multiple times in front of us. The door even closes smoother than before. We totally recommend Precision! And much thanks to Tommy!

The service representative Tom Sackmann promptly evaluated the condition of my garage door and whether a certain section could be repaired. He conferred with the Precision office and together they felt the requested repair would not be effective. I sincerely appreciated the professionalism and honesty of dealing with Tom and the Precision company. They did not bill me for coming out and for that I will definitely call them when other replacement parts are required.

A couple of years ago, I used Precision to install a garage door opener on one of the garage doors. The technician did an excellent job, so in 2025, I wanted them to work on my second garage door. That says a lot when you consider Precision Door Service for garage door work. They are excellent in communication and always follow through. Really love their service.

Setting up an appointment (same day) was simple and efficient; communication was great following the initial call. My repairmen, John Fahey, was knowledgeable and friendly. He laid out a few options and went through the pros and cons of each. I initially chose to have a new garage door opener system installed and to replace all of the hardware as a large spring and cable had failed. The electrical hook up was not ideal for the new system so we opted just to replace the hardware. Although I did not get a quote from other garage repair/installation companies, I did search the price of the components installed. The mark-ups seemed pretty high compared to the prices online (even including a $200/hour installation fee). I would love a company that sold the parts at cost or a modest premium and then charged $200/hour for service, though I do not believe that is typical in this industry or similar industries (e.g. AC repair/installation).
