I called Precision Garage Door Service to fix my garage door on a Saturday during the winter, meaning it was an emergency as I didn't want to leave my car outdoors. Their service was outstanding. From the first phone call to the repair service, Precision showed a remarkable customer service. The reason why I am giving four stars, it's because I felt the service was way overpriced. As a comparison, I did a similar service in my previous home garage door 2 years ago and paid less than 1/3 of the price. That other company was not available to do the emergency service for me today.

I was able to get an appointment quickly, and the service technician, Kevin, arrived on time. He clearly explained my options for fixing the problem and answered my questions. The repairs took less than an hour and everything works fine now. Kevin was very friendly, courteous and professional. I have used Precision Door before and have been very satisfied with the service both times.

I used this company because they were so highly rated. My garage door was still working but would only open part way and stop. When Kevin arrived I told him what was happening with the door and what I had tried in the process of troubleshooting. He told me it would probably cost more to repair it then it was worth and started to hard sell a whole new garage door opener. I asked him if he could fix mine and he continued to sell a new system. The price was from $1600 to replace the one most like mine. I told him no and was going to have my son look at it first. After he left, I got the manual out an found out that the place where the door stops is easily adjustable. I went out this morning and had it working as good as new in 5 minutes. I am 80 years old and use my garage opener several times a day every day. I am lucky that I sad no. Kevin told me he had been doing this for 11 years. I paid $73 for the service call. I am sure Kevin new how to fix it but choose to try to sell me a new opener. I hardly ever leave negative feedback on service people but I am sure this will save some people from being gouged by this company.

Kevin Stasiak was the technician. He has been here in the past to give us a new garage opener. Today there was some replacement work involving cables, rollers. pulleys. I thought your service was great and Tim the technision did a great job with the work and explaining everything. I also had a coupon to take care of the service charge.Although I do not believe a customer should be charged by you for coming out to assess the problem if you get the job. If you come out and the customer says no to you doing the job, then its ok to charge them.
