I didn't really know much about garage doors until I moved to Whippany. When I lived in West Orange, the garage was detached from the house. I didn't use it. I just parked in the driveway, I rarely drove it into the garage. But living in Whippany is different. The garage is part of the house and I pretty much have to use it daily. This house probably never had any of the garage door parts replaced. And the contact info for the previous Garage Door business was either out of business, or changed their name. Because when i googled it, the first name that came up was Precision Garage Door Service, not Danny's Doors. As it turns out, everything except the garage door was broken (springs, rollers, fading motor). The night before, the garage door made a shattering sound as it closed. Kevin explained everything to me and guided me through everything and was done in two hours. I love my new parts. I also find it funny (in a good way) that on my block, I am the only one with a different keypad. Everyone else has generic gray pad. I stand out!!!! Thank you Kevin and thank you Precision Garage Door! Will definitely recommend to others.

I used Precision at my old house in 2025 and 2022 and called them again when I had a problem with my garage door motor. Keven who is with the company 14 years showed up on time accessed the issue and presented 3 options to solve my problem. Given the option I selected he said it would take 2 hours, and he was spot on. Kevin, our serviceman, arrived within the promised time frame. He evaluated the problem with our garage door opener. Due to its age, repairing was not an option. He gave me a choice of three new openers that he had on his truck. Kevin installed a new one in about an hour. He explained clearly how to use it. He was knowledgeable and extremely personable. We had a broken spring/cable on a very heavy garage door. Precision was the first company I called and they booked our appointment to fix the problem almost immediately. The technician was so communicative in when he would arrive, he explained the issue easily and fixed it in what seemed like a snap. Reasonable price, quick and easy, and friendly. Great company.
