If I had to do the whole thing over again, I can't think of a single thing I would want to change...well, maybe having the manufacturer deliver the door a bit sooner. But even there, the delivery time was pretty much as expected. The installers were professional, friendly and more than happy to explain things in a way that even someone as technically challenged as myself could understand. The office staff was also helpful. They did all they could to accommodate my schedule. All things considered, a great experience.

As a follow up to the installation two days ago, I tried to set up the wireless keypad, and it did not work. Also having difficulty with the app on my phone. Called for support but was told can’t assist over the phone. Asked if someone could come over today and person said no. Not coming until Saturday to address something that probably would not take too long to resolve.

Tommy came by to fix our garage door motor and hardware -the day after a huge snow storm. He showed up on time, was incredibly knowledgeable, and walked us through our various options. He answered all of our questions and helped us make an informed decision. After he completed the installation, he walked us through programming a new code and showed us how to use everything. 6:45 this morning I got in my car to leave for work but the garage wouldn’t open!!! I phoned Precision Garage door service and by 8:30 Shane was here! I’ve never been disappointed with anyone on Precision’s team. They've always arrived on time and they give you a half hour notice before arriving. You’re sent an email advising who is coming including their photo. Today John came to see why my garage door wouldn’t open or close. He was very polite, professional, and knowledgeable. After checking, he saw that it was the outlet and not the motor. He was very honest and didn’t try to say it was anything more serious. I was concerned that if I lost the power connection again it would be very difficult to open and close the door manually. My HOA replaced the door several years ago with their own contractor and it wasn’t a good job. The door would just slam shut when closed manually. It wasn’t guided by a spring and it didn’t have handles to open and close manually. John explained the entire system to me and suggested a new motor system that had a battery backup. I decided to replace it immediately. I asked if he could put handles on the door. I would have to push the door up until I could get my foot under it and then lift it by hand. When shutting it the door would slam down hard. The motor he installed is amazing. The door glides up and down easily and is very quiet. It has a bright LED light that turns on as soon as I walk into the garage. He also put 2 handles on the door. The price was very reasonable and he was done in under 2 hours.
