I had a malfunction of the door. Called Precision for a service. Came the very next day. Solved the problem (a broken part). Because it was still under warranty, did not charge the service and part replaced. The technician arrived on time and was very professional and gentle. Highly recommended

Two years ago I realized that my almost 50 year old wood garage doors would not make it through another winter, so I called Precision very fearful of what the cost would be. I was very pleasantly surprised at the reasonable if not low cost of these new doors which included all new hardware. The installation was completely done in one day (actually less), and the doors are insulated and sealed all around. The cold draft I used to have was gone. I have had two minor issues. The one door I had as manual was a little hard to open and would slam shut. Precision came out and replaced the springs and now the door is perfect. This week, the door with the electric opener was slamming shut. I called precision and they came out the same morning, found where there was binding and repaired it, all still under warranty.

Saw your trucks all over and also on social media. Then I found out you were located in Pompton Plains and we wanted to support local businesses. You guys installed our new garage door a few years ago and the process was so easy! Then, a few years later, when we thought panel was broke, I called and made a service appt. My call was originally for service. The remotes on my 1995 liftmaster were not working. John (service technician) confirmed that it wasn't the remotes, so I gave him the go-ahead to install a new liftmaster door opener. I was surprised that he had everything he needed in his truck to do it right then and there, talking with me the whole time. He not only knows what he's doing, he is the nicest guy you'd ever want to meet! I will always ask for John whenever I need service. And my new liftmaster is amazing!

We wanted to have a LiftMaster garage door opener replaced. We wanted the LiftMaster 6690L installed the installer said it would be $1800 and then reduce it to $1400. These prices are outrageous. We had it done for $1000. We’re very happy and we will never be recommending your company again to our family, friends and neighbors. I’m sure you won’t post this on your webpage. It’s too embarrassing for your company. I don’t blame you, but we will no longer be using a recommending your company for this point forward.

The service was on time and excellent. Damaged parts(Spring was broken ) were readily available on the van and don’t have to wait for replacements. Service mechanic was knowledgeable and explained fully. As with any home service, price was little stiffer but compared to prompt and professional service. I would say it was worth and reasonable. Overall I was pleased withe service I have received.

I had an issue with my garage door remote not working on a consistent basis. Precision was extremely quick with their response and appointment time. Customer service was top notch. When the tech arrived, I thought I was going to get a hard sell to buy all new motors and equipment. But the tech was kind and courteous as he explained it was an issue with the LED lightbulbs I was using. How refreshing it is to deal with a company that is not trying to oversell something that is not needed. I rarely write review but I had to based on how impressed I was with my experience. When my garage door openers do finally give out, I will definitely be using Precision. Highly recommend!
