Garage Door cable snapped at 6:00pm on a Friday night; called Precision Saturday at around noon, explained the problem. I was told by the Pompton PLains location that they could handle the problem and get someone to my house between 2:00 and 6:00. Immediately after hanging up, the appointment was confirmed via Text and e-mail so I knew there would be no miscommunication about the appointment; this was followed up by a text from the Service Manager (Rob). They assigned the work order to their Service Tech, Jon Wilson who called me at 1:40 advising he was 25 minutes away (arrived at 2:05); I also received confirmation messages from Precision that Jon was on his way. Upon arrival, Jon and I reviewed the “problem door” as well as the 2nd garage door. He inspected both doors and gave me 3 repair options (Good, Better, Best); we selected the “Better” option. Jon immediately went to work and kept me informed what he was doing and changing/fixing (we had him replace the Springs, Cables, Rollers, and secure Railing brackets that came dislodged when the cable snapped). I have to say, Jon was EXCELLENT and was extremely attentive to his work, and checked everything THOROUGHLY upon completion, went over everything with me and asked if I had any questions. Can’t put enough praise on Precision and especially Jon for his excellent work and HIGHLY RECOMMEND Precision if you have any issue with your garage Door!!

Ferdinand was super helpful with my garage door issue! He replaced the sensors, which solved my problem, but he also took the extra time to fix some door alignment issues that he spotted. He also gave me a quote for some future maintenance work, including replacing all the pulleys and springs. Didn’t need it at this point, but I appreciate the offer. All in all this was an extremely positive experience and we will definitely be using Precision in the future for our garage door needs.

I consider myself blessed to have found Precision's web page. The cables had come off both of my drums causing my door to be out of alignment, plus all the tension was off my torsion spring as a result. I called Precision at 8:45pm. The next morning Chris K. came to the rescue. He was super pleasant, extremely professional, and very knowledgeable. He inspected my garage door, rollers, rails, the opener itself, and then went over my options with me. He didn't give me any sales pitch about unneeded equipment, and I found him very trustworthy because of his honesty.
