My garage door would start to close and then suddenly go back up. I called Precision (Northern NJ) and spoke with Ashley who was very pleasant and helpful when I explained my dilemma. Josh Orejola was my technician, he was very professional and informative. He saw the issue with the door, and since it had been 10+ years (Precision installed) it was a good idea to have everything checked, since it had become sluggish lately. Josh showed me 3 options and was more than happy to answer any questions I had. I’m happy to say the initial problem was corrected, and that the mechanism now works without the creaky noises, and runs smoothly. I highly recommend Precision. Thanks so much!

The spring on my garage door broke last night at 6:30 PM. I called immediately and the operator set up an appointment for the very next morning. The tech who came out worked with me to get my wife's car out of the garage, so she won't be late for her appointment. I didn't really know much about garage doors until I moved to Whippany. When I lived in West Orange, the garage was detached from the house. I didn't use it. I just parked in the driveway, I rarely drove it into the garage. But living in Whippany is different. The garage is part of the house and I pretty much have to use it daily. This house probably never had any of the garage door parts replaced. And the contact info for the previous Garage Door business was either out of business, or changed their name. Because when i googled it, the first name that came up was Precision Garage Door Service, not Danny's Doors. As it turns out, everything except the garage door was broken (springs, rollers, fading motor). The night before, the garage door made a shattering sound as it closed. Kevin explained everything to me and guided me through everything and was done in two hours. I love my new parts. I also find it funny (in a good way) that on my block, I am the only one with a different keypad. Everyone else has generic gray pad. I stand out!!!!
