Two years ago I realized that my almost 50 year old wood garage doors would not make it through another winter, so I called Precision very fearful of what the cost would be. I was very pleasantly surprised at the reasonable if not low cost of these new doors which included all new hardware. The installation was completely done in one day (actually less), and the doors are insulated and sealed all around. The cold draft I used to have was gone. I have had two minor issues. The one door I had as manual was a little hard to open and would slam shut. Precision came out and replaced the springs and now the door is perfect. This week, the door with the electric opener was slamming shut. I called precision and they came out the same morning, found where there was binding and repaired it, all still under warranty.

Michael, from Precision Overhead Garage Door Service arrived at my residence to assist me with a busted cable that wrapped around one of the pulley wheels, creating an unsafe situation. He examined the situation and cautioned me of the hazard that was existing in my garage with a spring that was still under tension. He then gave me his assestment of what safety measures we needed and he made the repairs. His expertise was vital in repairing the door to normal operations and suggested additional safety measures and maintainance tips to continue into the future.

Great experience! I had a new garage door purchased and installed by Precision Garage Door Service, who btw was the best price out of 5 different estimates. Although there were some issues with it in the first few months, Precision came out multiple times to make adjustments to make it right. It got to the point where Louis, the service tech who responded each time, said that the door was manufactured incorrectly and needed to be replaced. Not only did Precision order me a new door, Louis made sure he came out and installed the door himself. I can not give Louis and Precision enough praise to make sure that I have a perfectly working door and that I am a happily satisfied customer. I highly recommend using Precision for all your garge door needs.

Saw your trucks all over and also on social media. Then I found out you were located in Pompton Plains and we wanted to support local businesses. You guys installed our new garage door a few years ago and the process was so easy! Then, a few years later, when we thought panel was broke, I called and made a service appt. Hi,Brandon so far so good.happy with my new Garage Door.my first appointment with Mike Porta was June 28 2023 at that time I didn’t do the Garage door because technician refuse to take your coupon.this time same technician was here on july 9th 2026.over the phone he said I can’t take coupon price is already reduce. I accidentally backed my car into the opening garage door and damaged the lower panel. The door was still moving, but it required some force, so I initially thought it might be an alignment issue and scheduled an appointment with Precision Door. Setting up the appointment online was easy, and the evaluation was free. Jeff from Precision Door arrived on time and provided a thorough evaluation. He pointed out several things I had missed and, most importantly, was honest about the repair. He explained that the damaged panel should be replaced and recommended getting a replacement panel from the company that originally installed the door; otherwise, replacing the entire door would be the alternative. I really appreciated Jeff's honesty, professionalism, and willingness to give me straightforward advice rather than push me toward a more expensive replacement. Excellent experience overall. My call was originally for service. The remotes on my 1995 liftmaster were not working. John (service technician) confirmed that it wasn't the remotes, so I gave him the go-ahead to install a new liftmaster door opener. I was surprised that he had everything he needed in his truck to do it right then and there, talking with me the whole time. He not only knows what he's doing, he is the nicest guy you'd ever want to meet! I will always ask for John whenever I need service. And my new liftmaster is amazing!
