Had an appointment within two days of calling for service. Technician was knowledgeable & efficient. In and out in one hour. Had two new springs & two cables installed. I thought that the price was a little high for this service. Only reason not a 5 is the cost.

I was very impressed with my service call today with Pete. My door was structurally broken on the top panel and he provided the service to fix it instead of trying to sell me a new door which is what I was afraid of. He offered to replace the one panel but gave me also the lower cost option to repair the existing panel. He notified me that my rollers should be replaced, showed me exactly why, and again gave me the option to do a total rebuild or replace just the rollers. After repairs, my door was operating safely, smoothly and with NO NOISE. I appreciated his honesty and willingness to help. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and explained everything fully. I find your advice to check Angies list very interesting. If you spend the money on Angie's list I think doing your research is a great idea. While searching for garage door contractors you would come across Precision Door and see we have won the SuperService award on Angie's list for the last three years. There is no other garage door company that has that kind of track record. The cheapest way to get anything in a home fixed is to do it yourself. If you decide to call a lower cost garage door contractor make sure they are licensed to work in the state of NJ and are a fully insured company with workers comp, liability insurance, automobile insurance as well as an umbrella policy. You may not realize, if a technician is injured in your home your home owners policy does not cover this. I called Precision at 9am. The technician, James, called at 1pm to say he would be at my home by 3pm. By 5pm the work was all done, very neat, totally explained everything and showed me the pieces that had worn out. I was completely happy with the work that was done and thrilled that it was done the same day I called. Will definitely use them again.
