Precision Door Service and technician Charles did a great job. The chain broke on my 30 year old opener. Charles showed up within 90 minutes of my call, and the new motor and track was installed in another 90 minutes. He assessed the situation, gave me some options, and recommended I replace the motor & track. He also found that the springs were not properly installed. He installed the new motor, track, and corrected the springs so they now assist in pulling/holding the door up. The new motor works great. I am very happy with the service and would recommend Precision Door service and Charles to anyone.

The repairman, George, explained the options and costs for fixing our garage door, a very professional presentation. We chose the more expensive option because it seemed the most cost effective. He replaced the springs, one of which had snapped, and suggested some other needed replacements. We are very satisfied with the results, and appreciated the quick service.

My garage door was opening and closing continually on its own, a definite safety and security problem. I called Precision of Morris County and was pleased to hear that a tech could be at my residence the same day. Lou R. And Michael arrived within an hour of my call. Lou diagnosed the problem and explained my options. I decided to replace the aging Liftmaster,springs, cables and remote controls. I also wanted sensors installed because my old system lacked them. I now have the convenience of a mounted door control and battery back-up. Lou and Michael were very friendly and professional.

Tim came today to service my garage door which came off track. Ultimately I purchased a new garage door which was the best solution. Tim adjusted the broken door so I can use it manually in the interim. He was courteous, friendly and very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend Precision.

5 stars!!! The service technician was very helpful, courteous, and professional. I had a repair done just in time to meet my 5 year warranty on labor. I actually had been putting it off thinking it was going to be expensive, and it turned out costing me nothing because of the lifetime warranty on parts. We're so happy because we use our garage door a lot. Bringing groceries in the house is going to be a lot easier again. Thanks Chris!

Rob was extremely polite, called 1/2 hour before arriving exactly on time and did a thorough explanation of what he observed, honored our coupon and replaced our keypad that was malfunctioning. He provided materials on the product so we will know how to reprogram the keypad and mentioned how to change battery as well. We couldn't be more pleased with the punctuality, thoroughness and respectful interaction. highly recommend

Lou was courteous, friendly, prompt, efficient and knowledgeable. He taught me how to replace the (dead) batteries in my remote as well as the keypad battery, then went to work refastening wires and cables that a painter had loosened in the garage. He checked all the mechanisms and lubricated the moving parts. Very quick and efficient. I continue to recommend Precision to my neighbors and friends.

The only reason I didn't rate them 5 stars was I thought the price was very excessive for 80 minutes of work. I chose to pay because I was pressed for time and needed the door repaired on short notice, otherwise I would have bought the parts and fixed it myself, or shopped around for a better price. The technician was very professional and did a good job. I liked that I was able to call at 10pm on a Friday night and schedule an appointment for the next afternoon. That made the price a bit more tolerable.

The service we received from initial call to the end of our appointment was excellent. The technician, Lou, was prompt and knowledgeable, as well as personable. He took the time to explain to me, as well as my husband via phone, exactly what needed to be done (springs, rollers, cables, pulleys) to return our two garage doors to safe working condition.
