I called Precision because my garage door would not close when the weather got very cold. Christopher was excellent, so I am giving him a 5-star rating. However, Chris was the second technician to come to my home. The first technician (Joshua) replaced several parts to my garage door, but the next time there was cold weather, the door still didn't close. I called Precision again and they sent out Christopher, who was able to diagnose and fix the problem--bad sensors. I have very mixed feelings about using Precision in the future or recommending the company to my neighbors because I spent a lot of money with Joshua on parts I didn't need that didn't address the problem I was having.

I called Precision the morning of the scheduled repair to narrow the 4-hr. window. Chris called back shortly after with his ETA and got here on time, as promised. The battery replacement went quickly, and he lubricated the rails and checked to see that everything was running smoothly. He has a friendly smile and even helped put my smoke detector back in the ceiling after it popped out! Great guy, great service.

I chose Precision, looking for the company I used a while back. Turns out it was your company! Eric was knowledgeable and helpful. It would make sense to buy a new door, but we cannot afford it. He put in new springs that included the “safety catch.” It was finished in a timely manner..quite quick, actually. Hoping 5 stars are selected. It is hard to tell.

My service today was performed by Kevin S. He did a great job. He showed up at the agreed time, assessed the issue, explained what he was going to do, how much time he needed to do it and then executed what was promised in the time frame shared. My initial call was about the wiring coming off and being somewhat mangled. Based on his assessment and my warranty, Kevin was able to replace both sides/sets of hardware to prolong the life of the equipment and ultimately, the door itself. I paid close to $1500 for the installation a little under 5 years ago. Almost immediately, one of the remotes did not work and I called PD. They informed me that they would charge me for a service call to have someone come out and look at it. I declined and lived without the extra door opener. When Kevin was here today, I shared my experience and he did all he could to get the old one working. When he was unsuccessful, he reached out to the office and explained the situation and they permitted him to provide me with a replacement at no charge. Since my installation was less than 5 years ago, I was not charged a $70 service call fee, all parts were under warranty which saved me $650, and I did not have to pay for the remote control; overall, a very good day with great service!

Luke S was a professional, knowledgable and courteous technician. He assessed the situation, shared all options with me, then made recommendations that made sense from a number of perspectives. Every step was explained and he clearly laid out what work was going to be performed and the cost for the work proposed and then agreed to. He then proceeded to complete the work in good time and upon completion showed me all that had been done and performed a functions check with me. The technician was terrific. He called an hour before he came to tell me he would be there. His work was terrific, and he spent a lot of time with me explaining what he did. He also explained to me that the motor would have to be replaced in the not too distant future. He also explained to me what warning signs to look for when the motor would have to be replaced. All of the moving parts to the door were replaced.
