I called you guys last minute, and you came through. I cannot remember my service guys name, but he took the time to explain to me what I needed and why, the costs associated, AND most importantly, upon seeing my emotional response, applied a coupon to waive the service call fee. He worked hard, methodically and honestly. To boot, he was friendly at a stressful time for me (my garage door issues were part of my real estate closing). You guys ROCK! You get four stars only because of price...but that's just me being cheap. The service tech came down on price and was sooo helpful...I suspect other companies would clearly take advantage of my emotional response. Scott was very clear in his discussion with my wife and I about what he was going to do, what choices we had given that the spring of the garage overhead door was broken. He pinpointed the problems he saw and made his recommendation of what had to be done. This included not only replacing the spring, but also bearings and side rollers on the door. We gave him the go ahead and he proceeded to do the work. He said it would take him about an hour, but it took him longer since he was getting work related calls on his cell phone. We were satisfied when he was done and asked him to bid for replacing the same parts on the two other doors. He made a call and returned with a quote. We asked him to go ahead, but he said that he did not have the time, but said he would be back when we were ready for him. He charged us $300 deposit as requested by the back office. We thought that was more than we should pay, but when he offered to call back his office my wife said don't worry about it and we paid.

When examining my doors, he explained everything and showed me exactly which parts were broken or on the verge of failing. He went through all the options, gave me the prices, and was patient as weighed them with my wife. Drew completed the service in less than the estimated time, and the quality was terrific. Excellent Service!! It was a great experience! Bob was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. He provided several options and we ultimately went with a more powerful 3/4 HP opener instead of replacing the old 1/2 HP opener which was obviously stressed due to the angle of the existing setup and weight of the door. Cost a little more but it's obvious that it was the right choice. We are very pleased with the purchase and installation and would highly recommend Precision Doors to anyone in the area. The technician was very knowledgeable and patient. My only comment is that I was provided a time of 12-4pm and the technician arrived about 3pm so I wasted a lot of the day waiting. You must have a better way to schedule.

The speed of obtaining service was excellent. The technician was very nice. Called before the appt to let me know he was on the way. Technician was very knowledgeable and thorough in his assessment, and installation of my new keypad and opener. He kindly programmed them both for me. I am a repeat customer. I used Precision in 2008 & they were great then too so I called them again. I find them a tad pricey or they would have 5 stars from me. this is the only downside. with that said, it was excellent service & that does come with a cost sometimes. Better one pricey visit and get the job done right vs. trying an unknown that would charge less & who knows what type of service you would get With Precision - you know - Top notch!!

Scott was friendly and came between the times stated. He cleaned as he went,explained everything and even showed my interested preschooler how the door works. Very nice tech. The door was not fixed the same day I called as stated on the website and there was no fee waived. Prices were much higher than I expected as well, but my door works now. I did call the same day about a refund of the service fee. I was told someone would return my call and I am still waiting for that call a week later.
