It was another great experience using Precision. Lew, the technician, had done a fantastic job repairing the garage door problem previously, and this time we needed a new motor. He arrived right on time, checked what needed to be done and got to work, very efficiently. Upon completion, he was careful to explain everything and to double-check that everything was in order. As the last time, he was professional, friendly and super-efficient. Precision seems to have great employees and they do a terrific job. I would give 10 stars if allowed. Great service, great workmanship by Lou. He was careful to explain all the options, provided advice, worked hard and late at the end of the day (he didn't arrive until 7:15 and worked on the door until almost 8:45). Everyone involved with Precision was excellent. I called in the morning, was able to be scheduled for later in the day. Lou stayed in touch from his previous job so I would know when to expect him. I would always use Precision.

I was considering buying the springs at a local hardware store and trying to replace the broken springs myself. I'm glad I didn't because it would have taken me several hours and I probably would not have done it correctly. The Technician showed up the same day I called, used higher quality parts, and did a tuneup and balancing of the door. The whole thing only took him about 45 minutes. My garage door now operates more smoothly and much quieter than before.

It was a real pleasure using Precision Door Service. I called the 800 number for service and within 5 minutes had an appointment with a 4 hour window and the assurance that the tech would call me when he was 30 minutes away so I did not need to sit in my house and wait. This was all confirmed by an immediate email giving me all the information I needed. I received a call from Kevin N. when he was 30 minutes away and met him at my house where he was waiting for me. The fact I had a picture of him was nice especially if it was my wife waiting to meet him. Kevin quickly evaluated my door and went through all the options for repair, the cost of each and his professional opinion of what I should do and why. He made the decision process quite easy. Kevin then did the repair. In less than an hour he was he was all finished and my garage door was as good as new. He cleaned up perfectly, made sure I understood exactly what he did and what I was charged for. He gave me his card if there was any problem and he was on his way. I would never call anyone but Precision for a garage door problem again and I would request that Kevin come and do the work.

The Precision people were easy to get in touch with and came on time. They were able to quickly fix my garage door. However, their prices are outrageous. I'm sure if I shopped around I could have found a better price, but as we all know, once someone is at your house it is easier to just go with the people there. I would reccomend price checking before going with Precision, but besides the price they seem all right.

We came home late last night only to find the springs and cables were all broken on my garage door. I immediately called Precision Doors and got a live person who set up my appointment for Friday morning. The guys showed up at 9am so nice and professional. They explained to me my options and within 2 hours my door was fixed and better than when we had it installed. They were great and even checked my other door to let me know how that door parts are as well. I am not sure if I paid more or less compared to other companies, but I know it was fixed right and now I have a lifetime warranty on my doors that I did not have when Home Depot installed them. They were only 4 years old and all the inside parts were junk. I am glad I now have parts that will last a long time. Well worth the money.
