We had received a coupon in the mail and decided to contact Precision yesterday when our garage door had its problem. The technician came today as expected, was very polite, knowledgeable and competent and made us feel that the job would be done well and correctly. We have already referred Precision to a neighbor.

Scott was very knowledgable about the liftmaster garage door opener.He explained to us everything he was going to do and why. Scott was friendly and respectful.

Kevin was professional, prompt and efficient. Our door would not close by pushing the button and as it turned out the electronic eyes or sensor were not lined up. He discovered this immediately, made the adjustment and took the time to explain everything. The only negative thing I have to comment about is that your advertisement includes a $25 coupon off the regularly priced service call of $69 - I specifically asked the customer service rep when I called in about the use of it as well as what the $69 charge covered. I was led to believe that the $25 could be taken off the $69 if that was the only charge incurred. Kevin told me that the $25 would only be applied if he had charged me an additional labor charge, which thankfully he did not. Overall, I feel the service provided and the peace of mind in having my door working again was well worth the $69!

Our cable, springs and other things were broken. Gaetano the Precision Door technician was professional and courteous, did a great job explaining everything. Gaetano has great customer service skills and is certainly an asset to the company.

I chose Precision because you replaced my garage door in 2008 and we were very pleased with the service and door. 5 *****'s for service today!! He explained everything and completed the service wonderfully. Wonderful service guy and great job well done. On the scale from 1-10, 10 being the best for our service guy!! We called precision, because it serviced the Hackettstown and had a lot of good reviews online. The technician who came out felt he needed to explain in detail exactly what was wrong with the garage, I just wanted him to fix the particular problem and be done with it, (that in itself was fine) he suggested fixing both sides of the spring where only one side had a problem, I said just fix the side that was broken and if or when the other side goes we will replace.

Mario, Thank you for your feedback. While I understand it was your goal to fix one spring, our techs are trained to identify and diagnose the issues in your garage. We noted that the spring broke and understood that you only wanted to fix THAT spring, and we did only replace THAT spring for you. However, you need to understand our reason for wanting to fix bith springs. Both springs are the same age and have been used the same amount of times(Cycles) both up and down, so if only one is replaced you will probably be calling us in a few weeks to fix the other one. An analogy we like to use, if your left front brake needs to be replaced you replace the right at the same time: Right?? I hope this clears up your misunderstanding. Tech was not very friendly/personable The motor was gone as the unit is 12 years old but the 5 minute diagnosis still cost $73.83.

Unfortunately the cost to staff a truck, employee, gas, insurance etc prohibits us from diagnosing this for free. The battery for the battery backup failed after the hurricane, and I had a service tech here today to fix it.
