Doug, Just wanted to let you know how satisifed I am with the garage door repair that was done by Adam today, May 17, 2010 (Andover Township, NJ). Adam was very professional and took the time to explain everything about the options and repairs to my garage doors and made professional recommendations and guided me throught the process. Adam is a very thoughtful and knowledgeable technician and very skilled at what he does. I would highly recommend Precision and Adam to other neighbors, family, and friends in New Jersey. In addition, Adam made the repairs very quickly and I was up and running with my garage door as good as new the same day. Our technician,Tim, did an excellent job and was very informative regarding our purchase options as well as our product needs. He clearly was knowledgeable of the product line and experienced in doing this installation. The service, the product and the experience far exceeds what you typically encounter in home improvement projects. Very pleased and highly recommend this organization for garage door openers.

Tim was punctual, friendly, and knowledgeable. PDS charges more than the "big box stores," but their excellent staff makes it worth the premium. I had a billing dispute with the company, but they resolved it to my satisfaction.

Tim was punctual, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. However, my overall experience with your company was definitely negative. I paid a premium to have your company do the work. I could have paid $XXX at Home Depot (I know that it would have been a subcontractor) to have the identical opener purchased and installed. Instead, I paid $XXX for your technician to do it, a premium of $XXX (minus a $XX coupon). I was okay with that, because I've been happy with your company in the past, and I was certain that the job would be done right. But, to then get hit with the $XX service call fee was a very unpleasant surprise. Whenever I've had electrical, plumbing, etc. work done, there's always been a service call fee, but it would be waived if I then had the technician do the repair or installation. I'm amazed that you charge that fee, when your technician was already at my home (he didn't have to make a return trip to do the job), it was a replacement of an existing opener (not an installation from scratch), and I'm paying a hefty premium. I would not use your company again, and there's no way that I could recommend you to others, given your current policy. I can be reached at XXX-XXX-XXXX if you have any questions or comments. Dave didn't want to push on the metal door, so he really just provided a service call, and suggested we replace the bottom third of the door. Later Don and I went out and did some pounding and pushing, and got the door to lock. We're talking to each other again:o) and I think I'm out of the dog house. Thanks.....Molly Ball

My installer Sam was the most professional and polite individual I have ever encountered. His work was impeccable and he made me feel comfortable within the first 5 minutes of speaking to him. He is truly a hard worker and should be commended for this. I have encountered quite a few bad service technicians in my time and was delighted to finally meet a really great service technician who cared about his work and most importantly about the customer. Sam is an asset to your company and should be treated as such. As for the company, I was highly impressed with everything. The quality of your products is outstanding, the quick turnaround for installation was a welcome treat and the added bonus of knowing that the employees were all drug tested and background checked made it a no-brainer to choose your company. I was very impressed with the wealth of information emailed to me even before we decided to choose your company. You made the quote comparisons between your company and other local companies so much easier with the information you sent. I was also very impressed with the person you sent out to give us the quote, I believe his name was Glenn. He was completely professional and not pushy in the least. I highly recommend your company to anyone looking to purchase new doors/openers or repair their existing garage doors.

Vinnie was wonderful. He called half an hour ahead of time to let me know the precise time he would arrive, then arrived exactly then. He was polite, personable and professional. He clearly explained what he was going to do, then what he had done afterward. He also explained what needed to be done in the future.

Sorry but I did not get his name who serviced my garage door. I do have say that I was extremely pleased with his courtesy and quick repair and solution of my problem. Vince was very courteous and knowledgeable. He replaced the opener without a hitch. The reasons I only gave you four stars: 1. I really did not shop around, so I don’t know if your price was good (it seemed fair). 2. Vince tried to sell me a door hardware replacement, for like $750. I could probably get a new door for not much more. Overall I was very pleased and would recommend your company.
