I first learned about Precision Door from your you tube video about lubricating the door parts with lithium spray. The video was very helpful. I called Precision because they were on Angie's list, and highly recommended there. I set up an appointment for a Sunday morning. The technician was more than professional. He really went out of his way to do a great job. At every step of the way, Pete was courteous and explained everything he needed to do, told me my options and let me decide how to proceed. Even though it certainly wasn't cheap, I would highly recommend Precision, as well.

I was considering buying the springs at a local hardware store and trying to replace the broken springs myself. I'm glad I didn't because it would have taken me several hours and I probably would not have done it correctly. The Technician showed up the same day I called, used higher quality parts, and did a tuneup and balancing of the door. The whole thing only took him about 45 minutes. My garage door now operates more smoothly and much quieter than before.

Brandon called to give a half hour warning, was entirely pleasant and communicative, knowledgeable, and efficient. He helped us with a nonworking garage door. It now opens and closes quietly and won't wake up the entire neighborhood anymore - the clatter would actually embarrass me! Precision responded to my home and installed a new garage door opener, belt drive, remotes and keypad. The installer arrived when scheduled. The installer explained everything he was going to do. After he installed the new garage door, he programmed the remotes and keypad. He even programed my wife's car to opened the garage door. The installer was very professional and I would recommend Precision to my family and friends.

Kevin N. was my technician this past Saturday; I was extremely impressed with his service. He called early in the morning to let me know what time he would be there. He followed up with another phone call when he was only 10 minutes away; he got there with a smile even though it was all of 10 degrees outside, explained my problem, gave me best solution to fix it, and the work was done within an hour. Couldn't have asked for a smoother experience for one that I thought was going to be 'painful', but Kevin did an amazing job.

I called Precision for their hours of operation. My daughter came home from school and called me to say the door almost fell on her as she walked into the garage. Precision gave me a repair time that was not at all convenient and I asked for a different time. I was immediately given a time which was agreeable. I was told the technician would call me on his way to the job. I received two phone calls from Lou, first when he was on route to his next job and again after he assessed the job to give me an ETA. He was prompt, courteous, and professional. He installed new cables and replaced rollers. The night was freezing, and his personality deserved a coffee from Dunkin Donuts to warm him up!

Garage doors were nice quality and ordering, delivery and installation went smoothly. I was not pleased that the handles and locks on each door were a 1/3 of the way over from the side of the door rather than centered on the door. We were told it was because of the fact that this door came in 4 panels and had to be cut down to 3 panels to fit the frame. Being that our garage faces the back of our home it is not too big of an issue. If these doors were delivered and our garage faced the front of our house I would have sent them back. I truly believe we should have been made aware of this situation when we ordered the doors and we might have chosen a different model. It does look a bit strange. I generally walk every day and I've been taking time to look at garage doors. I honestly can't say that I've seen any with the handles/locks off center.

Mary, Thank you for your feedback. I understand your comments. When purchasing a new door we sell both 4 and 3 panel designs. If you are really concerned about the placement of the handles please call me and I will do everything in my power to replace the door at minimal expense.

It was a real pleasure using Precision Door Service. I called the 800 number for service and within 5 minutes had an appointment with a 4 hour window and the assurance that the tech would call me when he was 30 minutes away so I did not need to sit in my house and wait. This was all confirmed by an immediate email giving me all the information I needed. I received a call from Kevin N. when he was 30 minutes away and met him at my house where he was waiting for me. The fact I had a picture of him was nice especially if it was my wife waiting to meet him. Kevin quickly evaluated my door and went through all the options for repair, the cost of each and his professional opinion of what I should do and why. He made the decision process quite easy. Kevin then did the repair. In less than an hour he was he was all finished and my garage door was as good as new. He cleaned up perfectly, made sure I understood exactly what he did and what I was charged for. He gave me his card if there was any problem and he was on his way. I would never call anyone but Precision for a garage door problem again and I would request that Kevin come and do the work.
