I would like to say Ron was very neat, concerned about doing the job right. He took his time and was very careful during the repair. The problem I had was I lost my remote capability with a new logic board install. Ron thought it might be remote and keypad bad batteries, but it did not work after I replaced the remote and keypad with new batteries. I called liftmaster(the manufacturer)they indicated the logic board used(41A4252-6G) was not the correct replacement for my original logic board (41A5021-1H) and this could be the reason for the problem. I called precision and they returned the next day with a replacement logic board same number as originally installed. Ron indicated that's what the company uses as a replacement. Again, Ron was terrific he tried everything to increase range including extending the antenna. He indicated his original logic board may have been defective, but this is working. My problem is I have lost over half the range of my remote. It works within about 20 feet of the garage, before it worked within 70 feet of the garage door. I would have preferred the correct replacement which is 41A5021-1i rather than the the board precision said to use. I still think the correct replacement logic board should have been used. I would prefer my full range restored. When Joe Conte (service manager) read the review he called me. He scheduled a visit that day and was on time. He was able to correct the range issue so now my remotes works as designed and I am a happy camper I left the original review with this so a reader will know Precisilon immediately reacted to customer dissatisfaction and resolved the problem. I would recommend this company in the future.

We chose Precision because they were close to our home. The total experience from beginning to end was exceptional. Between Teresa, Anthony, Zsolt and Doug J, we couldn't have been more impressed with their knowledge and expertise. Zsolt and Doug J were the technicians who did the installation for our new garage door. They were great! They showed up ahead of schedule and finished on time. Our year old garage door openers stopped working after a very close lighting strike. Scott quickly determined that we only needed to have the circuit boards replaced. Unfortunately, the truck only had room for one circuit board. Scott returned several days with what he knew was not the correct part, but said he was told it was the same. It was not. It did not include the light socket. We then had two functioning garage door openers and asymetrical lighting. Scott returned to day with the right part, reprogrammed the remotes, and everything is back to normal.

You were recommended by Norge, Union Blvd in Totowa, You are the only company we called, we never did a comparison, so I am hoping that you gave us a good price. If we find out that you did we will recommend it to friends, since we live in an adult community with over 600 units. If on the other hand I find out that we were overcharged, the outcome will be different. Your sales person was very knowledgeable. PS. My wife was a little sceptable, since we originally purchased a keypad and two remotes at Norge for only $XX.00 and I have the bill to prove it. Now we had to get a new keypad and two remotes costing more than having to put a new board in and now the new remote and keypad is universal, my wife thinks that is a shame.

I believe you will find our pricing is comparable to other service companies. Additionally our retail prices are comparable to other retail operations also. But your comparison of Norge retail pricing versus having a technician come to your home and program everything is a bit unfair. As for the remotes used, we used the only remotes and keypad liftmaster offers now for your type of older motor.

Pete came, replaced my rollers as expected and informed me that my pully's also needed some attention. After speaking with him about my options I decided to go with the rebuild package. Needless to say he was very professional, explaining every detail to me along the way and the door works better than new! No more keeping the neighbors awake when opening and closing my door! Will definitely use them again in the future and suggest them to friends and family.

Michael Ganning was the Precision Door Service representative who visited us today. Prior to meeting with Mike, we were undecided as to whether we would have our existing door opener repaired or if we would replace the opener as well as the door.
