It took a couple of visits to get the issue resolved. In less than one year we required two visits on a new opener. The culprit was the new design of the sprocket which was causing the belt to be offline and cause the loud knocking sound. Precision replaced that part with an old part from an older motor. The dust guard could not be installed due to the shape of the part, but our garage is clean - told not an issue. It's not Precision's fault that LiftMaster has a design fault, but LiftMaster should provide replacement parts at not cost - like a recall. it's a problem. May need to not sell that product, but appreciate the Precision resolution at no charge and saving of the motor and belt before things got worse.

Very pleased with the work that was performed at my home on September 9, 2024. The service technician Ethan Tsirulik was very, very thorough and also very, very thoughtful. He was well informed on explaining my problem with the cable and also needing an up-to-date motor for my garage and also informing me that I would need an electrician to update the wiring for the new garage motor. Hopefully, he can come back on September 11 to install the new garage door motor. I did call the office and I am scheduled to have hopefully Ethan back on September 11 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

A spring on one of our garage doors broke on a Sunday afternoon. We checked with a family member, who had used Precision in the past, to ask for a recommendation. After their positive feedback we scheduled an appointment with Precision for the following morning. Louis R. arrived at our home 8 AM Monday morning and gave a detailed analysis of all the working parts of the door and some options for the repair. After making a decision Louis got to work and about 90 minutes later our door was working better than ever. That door has not been that smooth and quiet in years!! Thanks Precision and Louis R. for the quick response and great work! Highly recommended to anyone in need of Garage door repair!!
