My initial call with the friendliest gal was KEY. She then set an appointment for the very next day. The rep Mike who came was great. His quote was higher than a competitor, but I saw i was in much better hands with Precision. The installers were sweet and efficient in a timely manner. The text alerts, with Uber like tracking when the reps will arrive -an added bonus. I wish Precision did Plumbing, electrical, etc...too !

WOW !!! What a great experience…. Coil spring broke on garage door in the afternoon. Service was scheduled by phone and repair completed 1st thing in the morning. Watch their video online about the company. Their trucks are fully stocked with repair parts. Problem fixed without further downtime. ***Alan Ramirez*** was our service technician. What a knowledgeable clean neat pleasant young man. Employees make the company! His company is fortunate to have him on their team and should be proud how well he represents it. Garage Door cable snapped at 6:00pm on a Friday night; called Precision Saturday at around noon, explained the problem. I was told by the Pompton PLains location that they could handle the problem and get someone to my house between 2:00 and 6:00. Immediately after hanging up, the appointment was confirmed via Text and e-mail so I knew there would be no miscommunication about the appointment; this was followed up by a text from the Service Manager (Rob). They assigned the work order to their Service Tech, Jon Wilson who called me at 1:40 advising he was 25 minutes away (arrived at 2:05); I also received confirmation messages from Precision that Jon was on his way. Upon arrival, Jon and I reviewed the “problem door” as well as the 2nd garage door. He inspected both doors and gave me 3 repair options (Good, Better, Best); we selected the “Better” option. Jon immediately went to work and kept me informed what he was doing and changing/fixing (we had him replace the Springs, Cables, Rollers, and secure Railing brackets that came dislodged when the cable snapped). I have to say, Jon was EXCELLENT and was extremely attentive to his work, and checked everything THOROUGHLY upon completion, went over everything with me and asked if I had any questions. Can’t put enough praise on Precision and especially Jon for his excellent work and HIGHLY RECOMMEND Precision if you have any issue with your garage Door!!

The website was easy to use and scheduled for the next day. The tech was friendly and efficient. I usually get multiple quotes, I went with replacing the opener. I paid $1,500 which I came to realize was very high, well, when my boyfriend gasped! And they claimed to give me a $300 discount. I think I’ll get a handyman next time.
