Tom was very proffesional.I would give him a 4.I had called for a garage door repair for a door that closed but was uneven at the bottom. He advised that the existing springs needed to be replaced. My only concern is the cost for the rebuild. $XX for the service call, $XXX for the rebuild. Seem high for a repair. I Did not expect to spend that much for a repair.

When determining the cost of repairs I evaluate the following: â?¢We expend a considerable amount of effort selecting, vetting and training technicians to be employed by Precision and ultimately show up to your garage. In creating Tom's training class I reviewed over 500 resume's, phone interviewed 50 prospects, personally interviewed 18 individuals offered 8 positions, only four of which passed both the drug screen and criminal background check. Only 3 finished the training class. â?¢We train our technicians. Our technicians spend over three months in both hands on technical and classroom training as well as ride time in trucks with our senior technicians before they are allowed on the road. Training is constant and is overseen by my full time service manager. â?¢We have perfected our service truck inventory. My rolling stock is second to none in our industry. We show up with a fully stocked truck prepared to fix your issue the same day. This prevents you from having to take another day off from work. â?¢WARRANTY: on a full priced rebuild we warranty all parts for life, for as long as you live in the house. â?¢To retain key service personnel and minimize employee turnover we offer healthcare, 401K and a Sec 125 Cafeteria plan, most of our competitors do not. Lastly, while not significant to most, it is my responsibility to my 35 employees and their families to price our work to ensure that we stay in business and have the financial strength to ensure our longevity.

Tim was punctual, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. However, my overall experience with your company was definitely negative. I paid a premium to have your company do the work. I could have paid $XXX at Home Depot (I know that it would have been a subcontractor) to have the identical opener purchased and installed. Instead, I paid $XXX for your technician to do it, a premium of $XXX (minus a $XX coupon). I was okay with that, because I've been happy with your company in the past, and I was certain that the job would be done right. But, to then get hit with the $XX service call fee was a very unpleasant surprise. Whenever I've had electrical, plumbing, etc. work done, there's always been a service call fee, but it would be waived if I then had the technician do the repair or installation. I'm amazed that you charge that fee, when your technician was already at my home (he didn't have to make a return trip to do the job), it was a replacement of an existing opener (not an installation from scratch), and I'm paying a hefty premium. 5 stars - same day service - tech was nice guy - changed motor very quickly

We needed a new motor + garage door hardware (springs, pulleys, safety cables, rollers). Brian Smithson was extremely efficient and courteous. He answered all my questions and gave me time to make my decisions without pressure. He did a great job. Overall we are very happy with the new garage door.

Tim came to the house on time, and installed a new garage opener rather than putting money into an old one. He was thoroughly familiar with his products, and explained everything in detail, then demonstrated how it worked. He was very polite, patient, left no debris, and an absolute pleasure to deal with. The original estimate/invoice was for a $2400.00 job, but when the crew came to do the work they were able to figure out a different way to solve our problem for only $1200.00. I was very impressed by the willingness of the company and the crew to change the job so us to save us 50% of what we originally expected to pay. We are very satisfied with the result.
