When I called, your rep on the phone was professional, helpful and friendly. She scheduled the torsion spring replacement for the day I wanted it, and was able to confirm a narrow time window. It was an excellent experience. I found Precision in the Yellow Pages and will be recommending them to anyone with garage door needs. The technician who came was determined to fix my door and far exceeded my expectations. I moved into a new house and basically changed the handle to my door...the wiring slipped, door was stuck down/locked and there is no way into the space besides the overhead door. THANKS BEN!!

In answer to your email I would like to comment in the positive regarding the man that did the installation of my new garage door openers. Your repairman/installer was a fellow name "Dave". Dave arrived on Saturday November 14th and diagnosed my garage door problem. He gave me a good analysis and comparison of the cost & benefits of repairing my present door system verses replacing the door mechanism with a new Lift Master. After his presentation I choose to replace the door opener system. Dave went about his work in a congenial and efficient manner and also never created a doubt about his trustworthiness. Dave completed his work in a reasonable time. His was never intrusive. Dave answered all my questions regarding the door operations and left me with a feeling of confidence in the newly installed door mechanism. I would like to thank Dave for his fine work. Thank you.

On November 9. 2009, Ben Martinez came to my home and programmed two new remote controls for my garage door and also installed safety cables. He is both a courteous and thorough representative of your company. He also took the time to explain some things to me regarding the operation and maintenance of my garage door that I didnâ??t know about. He finished his work in a timely efficient manner and I in no way ever felt uncomfortable in his presence. That can be very important to people who live alone. Thank you for sending Ben. I chose Precision because they were local and offer 7 day service. The spring on our garage door broke and I called on Saturday morning and was assured someone would be by to fix it between 12 and 4. Tom F. called to say he would be at our house in approximately a half hour to 45 minutes. He was true to his word and told us what the cost would be before starting work on the repair (broken spring). He was done in about an hour and a half and we were quite happy that the automatic garage door was working again. I believe Tom deserves a 5 star rating.

Once they were finished, they made sure I was satifised with their work, asked if I had any questions,opened and closed the door a few times to make sure I saw it fuctioned propertly." Precision was just great. It was about the best service job I could ask for, at a good price, too. They agreed to come the next morning (from a 3pm call the previous day), arrived on time, and called 20 minutes before they arrived (I really wish all service folks would do that). They installed a new opener and replaced some old parts on my old set-up and it works like new. There was no hard sell at all. They cleaned up and left the place cleaner than it was to start, and removed all the leftover parts. The technician really knew his stuff and did what I consider a craftsman-level job. The technician worked straight through and finished in about 3 hours, explained everything to me and offered to answer any questions later. I recommend them 100%. I have no connection with Precision, I'm just a happy customer in Bridgewater (NJ). I called later with a question about remote-programming and they answered it right away. I would use Precision again in a heartbeat.I've been through a ton of service people on my old house over 20+ years (with some real horror storied) and rate Precision as #1 without hesitation, no kidding.

Tim was punctual, friendly, and knowledgeable. PDS charges more than the "big box stores," but their excellent staff makes it worth the premium. I had a billing dispute with the company, but they resolved it to my satisfaction.
