The Precision people were easy to get in touch with and came on time. They were able to quickly fix my garage door. However, their prices are outrageous. I'm sure if I shopped around I could have found a better price, but as we all know, once someone is at your house it is easier to just go with the people there. I would reccomend price checking before going with Precision, but besides the price they seem all right.

I first called Precision in 2004 for a garage door repair and 11 years later they continue to provide excellent customer service. Appointment scheduling is convenient, and live person answers the call. The technicians explain the problem, provide options and quality service.

The firm is generally professional and attends appointments on time although does not respond to complaints. The technician who showed up appeared not to be not familiar with a standard, basic Genie door opener and how to trouble shoot a reported problem (including asking for help from others). Furthermore, despite determining that the motor worked, the technician attempted to upsell by recommending to install a new replacement motor, at significant and unexpected cost.

I am the owner of Precision Door and would like to discuss this with you. How old was the opener? Does it make sense putting money into an old opener especially if it doesn't meet ul325 compliance? You guys rock. I believe the tech's name is Kevin. In any case, he fixed the crazy nervous garage door within minutes and freed my car. He lubricated in all the right places and re set up the remotes. And I was set. Great job!

A few days ago I had come across Precision's website when looking for "how to" videos about adjusting garage door openers and had been impressed with what I saw on the site. Last night I noticed that our garage door opener was "grinding" when opening the door. Not good. Having seen the website, I decided to call Precision instead of the company whose name was pasted to the opener and to the wall in the garage. I would call that company in the past simply because the name was there. I also saw that Precision advertised "same day" service and also weekend service, but I thought to myself "we'll see". I called at 8 AM and was given a Noon - 4 PM slot later in the day. Greg actually called before 11 AM and said he could get to my house early, and arrived before 11:30. We went over what needed to be done (replace the opener) but also a chronic problem that we had with the door. Greg said he could fix that as well. By 1:20 the job was done. Greg was very professional and courteous and did an even better job than I expected when I first called. And the total time from first call to completed job was 5 and 1/2 hours! P. S. I had him paste Precision's sticker over the old company's sticker before he left.
