Any homeowner will tell you there are people who come to solve your problem and there are people who come to "sell" you more stuff. It is the difference between work and craftsmanship. Matt Dewald and the team at Precision are "craftsman" . Their goal is not just fix the issue but to solve the problem. I know this may sound like hyperbole but I am dead serious. I have spent the last 40 years developing systems to diagnose and repair complex equipment ranging from nuclear reactors to blowout preventers on offshore oil rigs. I have spent time with those who "claim" to know what they are doing and those that actually do. I know the real deal when I listen to how they talk and the go about their work Matt and the team at Precision are the "real deal".

Had trouble reconnecting WiFi with MyQ. Matt came and spent a lot of time troubleshooting, including spending much of that time on the phone with the manufacturer. He went through the reconnect process countless times, and was determined to solve the problem no matter what it took. Making an appointment with Precision Door to repair or replace my garage door opener was quick and easy. I called on Tuesday and was scheduled for an appointment on Wednesday. Matthew, the technician, called before the appointment time and was able to come earlier than expected. He was friendly, courteous and professional. He looked at the existing opener which was more than 25 years old and explained the costs of trying to repair it versus replacing it. After I made the easy decision to replace it, he took time to understand how often I used the opener and discussed the three available models with me to help me determine which one best fit my needs. He installed the selected model quickly and efficiently and demonstrated the use of the indoor and outdoor keypads and the remote. I am 100% satisfied with service performed and the new opener and would recommend Precision Door to anyone who needs garage doors (I had mine replaced by Precision Door several years ago and they still look beautiful) and/or openers.

Based on this morning’s experience at my home, I would unconditionally recommend Precision Door Service for any and all problems related to the repair of overhead garage doors. I received immediate confirmation on Saturday to my request to schedule a service call for early Monday morning, and the service technician (Matthew Dewald) was at my door by 8:30 AM. Matthew is personable, well trained and efficient. He closely inspected our door and overhead mechanism, identified the problem, proposed a solution in language I could easily understand and, after receiving my approval, completed the repair by 10:00 or thereabouts.
