Our service person was Brian B. He was very punctual (arrived exactly at 4pm) and was super courteous. He explained the issues with our springs and did a timely repair. I thought he was first rate. Precision is lucky to have him on their team.

Very happy with Eric , the technician. The work done was Excellent. I was not happy about being told the work was scheduled to be done between 8am and 12 noon. The technician showed up at 11:50am. Work started at 12:35pm. Eric did an excellent job. At the end of the day I was completely happy with the job done.

Lou was my technician today to change my battery backup. After he quickly did that, he inspected the rest of the mechanism and determined the items most in imminent jeopardy were the pulleys and one of the cables. Since I was recently laid off for the rest of the year, replacing the springs, etc will need to wait a bit. I appreciate that Lou understood my situation and found a way to do the work that needed to be done immediately at a price I could afford. I will definitely be using Precision Door in the future, and can highly recommend Lou.

The only reason I didn't rate them 5 stars was I thought the price was very excessive for 80 minutes of work. I chose to pay because I was pressed for time and needed the door repaired on short notice, otherwise I would have bought the parts and fixed it myself, or shopped around for a better price. The technician was very professional and did a good job. I liked that I was able to call at 10pm on a Friday night and schedule an appointment for the next afternoon. That made the price a bit more tolerable.

After two service visits - first visit: no problem uncovered, but two cables were replaced. Second visit after same problem returned - it was determined that the "eye" was blinking - should have been constant. Eye was straightened and cleaned off - and hopefully the problem of the door not closing all the way was resolved. I hope!

We had a window from 8-12....our technician, Lou, called to let us know that he had a bigger job than anticipated and may come outside the window-we appreciated that. At 1pm, Lou called back to let us know he was on his way and couldn't have been more apologetic for being late. When he arrived he was extremely professional and courteous. He listened to our concerns and came up with a plan of action. He addressed every issue and concern we had and stayed until everything was working perfectly. We would recommend Lou to anyone. We keep getting an error message (42 - excessive force). This is from the motor which Precision Door did not install. The technician who came was Lou. He was punctual, thorough, knowledgeable, and very informative in explaining the possibilities for the error as well as the options we have going forward. When we agreed on a course of action, he immediately went to work and completed the jobs completely and cleanly. Chris K. was very professional and explained very clearly what had to be done to fix the problem with my garage door. I needed new rollers, operating cables, safety cables. new cast iron pulleys and springs. He did the job quickly and correctly. Chris explained all the new parts he installed. I received a call from him approx. 45 minutes before he arrived. I certainly would recommend Precision Doors to anyone with garage door problems. Certainly I would use them again if I needed any more work done. Chris was wonderful and very friendly.
