I was very pleased with Tim. I had a residual issue from another job and he was able to assess the problem and we fixed it quickly. I appreciated his explanations, as they made perfect sense as to the cause of the issue. He went above and beyond the task at hand by telling me a variety of information, which is useful to know. Andrew (Drew) came out today to assess my broken garage door. The cable had snapped so we were in need of repair. He did an excellent job at detailing all of the repairs that were needed (either critical, or recommended) and itemized the cost/benefits of each. In the long run, I decided to have the entire system of the door rebuilt, and was thankful that Drew was so well versed and was able to explain everything to me (in lay-man's terms). Service was immediate and I have no real complaints. If I had to name one thing - I'd say the price, but who doesn't want things to be cheaper in their lives. All around, great service and I will use them again (if my other garage door needs repair). It's also a great thing to see that they stand behind their work - offering a lifetime guarantee on parts and a 5 year guarantee on labor. This was the real reason I chose to do the overhaul of the entire thing.

This was a safety check visit. I had not had my garage door opener looked at since it was installed 8 years ago and wanted to make sure it was tested and safe. I watched and learned as Ron inspected everything, educating me along the way as well as clearly explaining maintenance options for now and/or the future. Thank you Ron. My neighbor had recently recommended another company, but I saw many negative reviews for them and was hesitant to call. I searched the web and liked how Precision had the technicians listed on the web site along with reviews. That's a good idea. (It can be nerve-wracking waiting to see who shows up to do work and hoping they have the right experience for the problem.) I looked at the BBB site, and I liked how Doug didn't remove a review containing a complaint but added a note to explain it. Those 3 things led me to try them. I used their web site late Friday afternoon to email for an appointment and was called just minutes later and confirmed a next-day Saturday appointment...very convenient. I didn't have major work done today, but nevertheless, I'm so pleased with the whole quick and organized process, and Kelly and Ron, that I didn't even feel right using the coupon in the Value-Pak that I learned about from someone else's review, so I didn't! When the day comes when I need a repair or replacement, I will call back Precision.

Anthony came as scheduled & explained our options for new garage doors. He was friendly & professional. He was also kind enough to go back to the showroom & return a short while later with an actual sample of the garage door color we were considering. On the day of installation, Chris arrived as scheduled & did a neat & excellent job. Even though our new garage doors were delayed in production from the original time frame of 3 weeks, it was worth the wait since the medium wood-grain color matches our house. It was also a pleasure dealing with Teresa in the office.

I learned about Precision while looking for deals on Angie's List. I looked up the company phone number on the internet and it was easy to reach then and schedule an appointment. On the day of my appointment, Ron, the technician called to give me his eta. He was professional and patiently listened to my questions gave clear, understandable responses. I thought everyone from your salesperson to the technicians were very professional, courteous and friendly and went beyond where they needed to be helpful. Because I didnt have the appropriate siding on my garage, you had to come back a second time to install the molding ( and bring a battery pack that wasn't included), but the technician after leaving my house called to tell me there was a contractor down the street who could probably do the work very easily and wanted to save the step for me having to search for someone. The doors look very nice..

Back in June Brandon replaced a torsion spring and suggested I replace both and I decided not to take his advise. Of course the second one broke and you guys came right away. I called expecting to wait days to have my door opener repaired. Instead I got an appointment for the next day which was Sunday. They came as promised with a truck stocked with parts. Peter Orlando was extremely professional in the performance of the repair to the garage door. He called ahead and attempted to resolve the problem without coming to our residence, but was unsuccessful. Although I ended up paying much more than I thought, but I am happy with the service Brandon provided, he is very professional. Overall service was excellent, truly 24x7. I called first thing on Saturday morning, team worked around there appointments schedule and confirmed Brandon will be at my house within 45mins. Right after I finished the call with the appointment, Brandon called right way and very kindly informed me that he will be at my house in 35 mins. Brandon examined all three doors and explained details of each of my options, sincerely showed how he cared about his customer and my safety. I trusted him and decided to let him do some preventative maintenance work and ended up replacing springs on two doors. Definitely would recommend Brandon to others. The reason for 4 stars is because Precision fee is higher than other companies.

I would like to say Ron was very neat, concerned about doing the job right. He took his time and was very careful during the repair. The problem I had was I lost my remote capability with a new logic board install. Ron thought it might be remote and keypad bad batteries, but it did not work after I replaced the remote and keypad with new batteries. I called liftmaster(the manufacturer)they indicated the logic board used(41A4252-6G) was not the correct replacement for my original logic board (41A5021-1H) and this could be the reason for the problem. I called precision and they returned the next day with a replacement logic board same number as originally installed. Ron indicated that's what the company uses as a replacement. Again, Ron was terrific he tried everything to increase range including extending the antenna. He indicated his original logic board may have been defective, but this is working. My problem is I have lost over half the range of my remote. It works within about 20 feet of the garage, before it worked within 70 feet of the garage door. I would have preferred the correct replacement which is 41A5021-1i rather than the the board precision said to use. I still think the correct replacement logic board should have been used. I would prefer my full range restored. When Joe Conte (service manager) read the review he called me. He scheduled a visit that day and was on time. He was able to correct the range issue so now my remotes works as designed and I am a happy camper I left the original review with this so a reader will know Precisilon immediately reacted to customer dissatisfaction and resolved the problem. I would recommend this company in the future.
