We called on Saturday, Ethan Tsirulik arrived Sunday morning. He took the time to explain what went wrong with the garage door and what needed to be done to get us back to normal. Great experience. Ethan was terrific to work with; knew my needs and did not try to oversell. I was hoping for an improvement over my very loud garage door, something near "whisper quiet." A couple of hours later I had a whisper quiet door. I did not need a new door just a new motor and maintenance. Makes a big difference to us and our neighbors!

Alan arrived right on time and made efforts to repair our 28 year old openers but one was beyond repair and the other on it's last leg so we moved quickly to replacement. Alan thoroughly explained the issues and options. He had everything he needed on his truck and had both done openers and keypads and switches installed in just a few hours time. Great job and highly recommended.

I am extremely satisfied with the product and the service at the time of installation. Their tech Ethan was knowledgable and did a great job. However, I’m only giving this company three stars, because of their high pricing and poor customer service response after the fact. I originally called Precision because one of the springs on my garage door broke, and I wanted to get an estimate for repair. Ethan suggested that I should also think about having the garage door unit replaced at the same time as the springs, since it was almost 17 years old. I was given three quotes for the work and picked the middle quote, which was just over $3,000. Ethan said he had the supplies to do the job right then and there, so I gave him the ok. After the work was completed, and I finally got to sit down and look at the bill in my email, I had a few questions regarding the high prices on some of the the charges, so I reached out to the Pompton Lakes office on 2/12/26. The woman who answered took my information, and assured me that she would have the owner reach out to me by the end of the day. That never happened. I then replied to the text message I received from "Rob, the Service Manager" at Precision on the day the tech came to my home. In the text message, he asked me to contact him if I had any questions, which I did. I contacted him by text on 2/13/26. On 2/14/26, he told me that he was the person that was supposed to get back to me on the on the 12th, but never did. He then stated that he would have a higher up contact me on Monday, 2/16/26. Until now, no one has contacted me, and it's 2/28/28. All I wanted to do was discuss my concerns about some of the part pricing, and no one responded. This company needs to do a better job of customer service at the corporate level.

They were great. I called them on Monday night and they showed up bright and early on Tuesday and fixed the problem. Technician couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. Prices were reasonable.

He diagnosed the problem, gave me three options to fix it and had my garage door working promptly. He also reprogrammed my opener for me. Vincent is an excellent technician.

When I called the person was very pleasant and helpful. they were able to schedule an appointment for the next day which fit my schedule. There were many status messages before the visit so I could plan and make sure I was ready. The technician called ahead was very pleasant. If I had to do the whole thing over again, I can't think of a single thing I would want to change...well, maybe having the manufacturer deliver the door a bit sooner. But even there, the delivery time was pretty much as expected. The installers were professional, friendly and more than happy to explain things in a way that even someone as technically challenged as myself could understand. The office staff was also helpful. They did all they could to accommodate my schedule. All things considered, a great experience.

As a follow up to the installation two days ago, I tried to set up the wireless keypad, and it did not work. Also having difficulty with the app on my phone. Called for support but was told can’t assist over the phone. Asked if someone could come over today and person said no. Not coming until Saturday to address something that probably would not take too long to resolve.

Tommy came by to fix our garage door motor and hardware -the day after a huge snow storm. He showed up on time, was incredibly knowledgeable, and walked us through our various options. He answered all of our questions and helped us make an informed decision. After he completed the installation, he walked us through programming a new code and showed us how to use everything.
