Let me say that the service was great. Technician Lou was a complete professional. On a bitterly cold day he completely rebuilt my garage door, installing new sprigs, cables, and rollers. Despite the cold, he worked for several hours until the job was perfect. Very professional

I chose Precision Garage Door because the website was so customer friendly. I liked the idea that there were "do it yourself" videos on the site for customers to try to solve the problem themselves. Lou R. came out today...called ahead of appointment time for permission to come a little earlier. My garage door was intermittently working and other times stopping in the up or down position partway. Lou knew immediately that my problem was not my sensors. He checked the force buttons on the motor and indicated they were too low and moved them to a higher setting. He lubricated my rails while he was there. He explained why the problem was not with my sensors. Although my system is functioning overall, he did point out that the cables, springs, pulleys, and rollers could use replacement due to the age (16 years) of the system. He explained how the new rollers were made of better materials and how springs start to sag over time. He gave me a price if I wanted to pursue for the future. He also explained the lifetime warranty on parts and the labor warranty for 5 years if I proceed with parts replacement. Lou was courteous, clean cut, polite, and efficient. I would not hesitate to call Precision if I decide to proceed with the parts replacements.

So my garage door stopped opening and closing suddenly and when I called they were willing to have someone come here immediately. I was willing to wait a couple days so they gave me an 8AM to 12PM window. By 8:20AM, a very polite gentleman by the name of Rob Z. called and informed me that he was on his way and should be there in 20 minutes depending on traffic. 20 minutes later on the dot he pulls up, introduces himself and gets to work checking on the problem. 5 minutes later the problem is identified as a problem with the motor that can be fixed at about half the price of a new motor. He helped me with the decision to replace the motor based on the age of it and its life expectancy as well as how long I intended to live at my home going forward. He then went over the different motor options and again was very helpful in that decision as well. He had all the necessary equipment to replace the motor and gave me an estimate of 1.5 hours. An hour and 15 minutes later he helped me program the keypad outside, I paid for it very simply with a credit card, and I was done! So although this process was made very simple and was done in a timely fashion it just got even better a whole two weeks later! I actually inadvertently deprogrammed all remotes including the keypad outside. I downloaded the manual but was unsuccessful at reprogramming it. Remembering that he helped me program it, I reached out to him on a Friday night at dinnertime via email. Not expecting a response until Monday at the earliest, he responded 15 minutes later with instructions not even included with the manual! He had the exact code that I needed that I could not find after over an hour of research - on a Friday night! If that's not dedication to your job, I don't know what is! Thank you Rob for a great experience and I highly recommend you to all and hope Precision knows what a great employee you are! Thanks again!

This company provided professional and courteous service from beginning to end. It was fast and easy to schedule an appointment. Rob Z. was able to easily diagnose and fix the garage door. Care was taken to make sure the door was adjusted and the coils were safely replaced. I highly recommend Precision.

We purchased an Angie's List deal to try out Precision OGDS. It was a great deal! And we received excellent service. We were able to make the appt the same day. There was a scheduling mix up. A tech called to tell me he was heading to my house (several hours too early). Since I wasn't home and this was a scheduling error, they corrected it right away. The tech, called the home office and rescheduled me for the very next day. The next day, the tech arrived promptly and worked efficiently. Our door was loud and wobbly. The tech fixed the problem in about 10 mins. He was knowledgeable and very professional. I didn't have to wait for 4 hours like most services. We love our quiet door. I highly recommend Precision Overhead.

We were very impressed with the service we received from Precision. I called yesterday and was given an appointment today for repair of a garage door. The technician, Chris, was on time and, as promised, called about 20 minutes prior to his arrival. We were very impressed with Chris's professionalism, friendliness, and efficiency. He gave us two choices for repair of the door--short term (cheaper) and long term, with absolutely no pressure to do the latter (which we did). We would certainly use Precision for any future work, and would request that Chris do the work. We could not have been more pleased with Chris or the work he did.

I was very impressed with your service from start to finish. I called about 4pm about a problem I was having and the representative I spoke with scheduled an appointment the very next day. I received an email confirmation of the appointment within a few minutes including pictures of the technicians so I would recognize the person who came. My technician, Gaetano, called shortly before arriving; something I really appreciate. He diagnosed the problem with my old garage door opener and laid out my options. I decided it was time for a new one especially since I wanted one of the newer features now available, a battery back-up. He installed it very quickly, cleaned everything up & removed the old opener. I'm very happy with the new one. It is much quieter than the old one and the battery back-up gives me some peace of mind.

The team from Precision are great to work with. My whole experience from the sales team to coordination and installation was simple and painless. The install crew did their job very well. They were quick, clean and precise. My favorite and probably a stupid item was how clean they ran the wires for the garage door opening module. They ran it for two garage door opening motors, wires are nice and tucked away. Job well done Precision. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for garage replacement or service. Even though I haven't used their service yet, if it is anything like the new install, I am sure I'll be happy with it.
