Tom at Precision replaced our old Liftmaster garage door opener with a new one today. He explained that it would be better to replace the unit rather than fix the old one given the fact that it was 15 years old. I thought that was sound advice. Tom was courteous, knowledgable and helpful. He called both my phones to let me know he was on his way, and he arrived on time. I always call Precision for my garage door needs.

I chose Precision for convenience and because you had the quality brands I know and wanted for my home--I knew when I called that I would need a completely new door opener to replace my existing failed unit (11 years old and installed by the home-builder, so its time was up!). I have had a wonderul experience dealing with your company, from the first call through completion of the job, which, as noted, was complete replacement of a residential double-garage door opener. It was easy to make a prompt and immediate appointment that was convenient to me (this is the first contact with a seervice company and its importance cannot be overstated!); the technician, Tim, came when expected, and was incredibly knowledgable and helpful in making the correct choices for a substantial job, and as promised came with a stock of available, various choices that could be installed by him on the spot once I chose what was correct for the job (all of this being the seconds step, also not possible to overstate its importance). Tim carefully inspected my existing equipment totally so that when he was done, I had an encyclopedic knowledge of the state and status of even the smallest components of my garage door and opener, and all hardware associated with it. This is the proper state of knowledge to form judgments about what was required to be done. Tim then took the time to explain every important issue for me to consider, answered every question I raised, offered consumer-centered advice and recommendations as well as the full range of choices, and was not ever "pushy" or offensive in any way--in fact just the opposite--Tim was helpful and accommodating in every possible way, and also extremely competent and quick in his work (without compromising either safety or quality). I expect a continuing relationship with Precision, and want Tim to return to my home if and when I need further service. I told him that and he said it was company policy to do just that. Once the installation job was done and he had set everthing precisely and correctly, Tim took the time to explain everything necessary to understand and operate the new opener and remote transmitters with proper understanding of safety concerns and features of importance. This is the kind of serivce I try to seek for everything, and believe that Tim provided service that exceeded every possible expectation, and in this he was supported by your company. I spent a lot of money for a complete Liftmaster replacement door opener having the most modern safety and convenience features, including battery back up, and have the feeling that every single cent was well-spent and that I received an extremely fair value, including a valuable warranty from the manufacturer, and your company's backing. I have already recommended Tim and your company to a neighbor and am sure I will do that in the future. Thank you for such an outstanding representative and for company policies that are so excellent and effective. I could not be more satisfied.

Our Technician Dave Nicomini explained in detail the reasons for the problems were were experiencing and offered sensible solutions on the spot. In addition, he was able to fix our problem from a burnt out motor to problems with our cables all in one trip. To begin with, your Yellow Page ad is excellent and a confidence builder. Your website is even better, especially the educational films. Your Technician, Brian, explained that my old Sear's garage door opener was beyond repair. He priced a variety of replacements for it, and installed my choice quickly and very professionally. Per Precisions policy he also performed a written thorough safety check on the entire door assembly and made sensible reccomendations.

Couldn't be more pleased. Not only was the new product an unbelievable upgrade in quality from the existing unit, but the service and installation was top-notch. This opener had to be installed in an area in which it barely fit, and the structure the existing opener attached to was badly built and poorly supported. Kenny was totally prepared for every bump in the road, taking the time to ensure the area was properly reinforced, handling installation of the keypad on a thick concrete wall, and so much more. I love the new opener, and I love how all the pricing is clear and up front -- no hidden fees or hourly rates that quickly add up well beyond the initial quote.

I was given an arrival time between 8:00 and 12:00. Tim arrived at 8:40 and quickly looked over my situation (two doors with broken springs). He explained everything it detail. Once we agreed to what had to be done, he quickly started the job. When he was finished my first door, I asked if he could also install the garage door opener with battery backup (LiftMaster). He was able to install this garage door opener as well. Once the job was done, he explained everything again to me. He did a great job and was done before well before noon. Thanks Tim.

What can I say about Tim that hasn't already been said? Friendly, smart, willing to demonstrate and give specifics about the problems he diagnosed rather than just spouting off a bunch of technical info and hoping no one asks questions. Very professional and clearly dedicated. For example, my job took until past 5:00 on a Friday evening and while other contractors might be inching towards the door as fast as they could, Tim took the time to give thoughtful answers to all my questions and made sure I was fully satisfied before he left. Highly recommended!
