I chose Precision because they were local and offer 7 day service. The spring on our garage door broke and I called on Saturday morning and was assured someone would be by to fix it between 12 and 4. Tom F. called to say he would be at our house in approximately a half hour to 45 minutes. He was true to his word and told us what the cost would be before starting work on the repair (broken spring). He was done in about an hour and a half and we were quite happy that the automatic garage door was working again. I believe Tom deserves a 5 star rating.

I'm sorry for not responding sooner, the two technicians were very professional explained exactly what they were going to do, and completeled their job in a timely fashion. Once they were finished, they made sure I was satifised with their work, asked if I had any questions,opened and closed the door a few times to make sure I saw it fuctioned propertly." Plus they did an excellent clean-up job......." I would refer and use your company again.Also the salesman that came,was professional, answered all my questions, and was understanding to what my goal was and my price range. He would be an asset to any company.

Tim was punctual, friendly, and knowledgeable. PDS charges more than the "big box stores," but their excellent staff makes it worth the premium. I had a billing dispute with the company, but they resolved it to my satisfaction.

Precision was just great. It was about the best service job I could ask for, at a good price, too. They agreed to come the next morning (from a 3pm call the previous day), arrived on time, and called 20 minutes before they arrived (I really wish all service folks would do that). They installed a new opener and replaced some old parts on my old set-up and it works like new. There was no hard sell at all. They cleaned up and left the place cleaner than it was to start, and removed all the leftover parts. The technician really knew his stuff and did what I consider a craftsman-level job. The technician worked straight through and finished in about 3 hours, explained everything to me and offered to answer any questions later. I recommend them 100%. I have no connection with Precision, I'm just a happy customer in Bridgewater (NJ). I called later with a question about remote-programming and they answered it right away. I would use Precision again in a heartbeat.I've been through a ton of service people on my old house over 20+ years (with some real horror storied) and rate Precision as #1 without hesitation, no kidding.

We were thrilled with the service that Bob provided. He was polite and courteous and explained why we were having the problem we were having. He came across as very knowledgeable. He gave me several options to fix our problem - its nice to have options. especially in tough economic times. Tom was very proffesional.I would give him a 4.I had called for a garage door repair for a door that closed but was uneven at the bottom. He advised that the existing springs needed to be replaced. My only concern is the cost for the rebuild. $XX for the service call, $XXX for the rebuild. Seem high for a repair. I Did not expect to spend that much for a repair.

In creating Tom's training class I reviewed over 500 resume's, phone interviewed 50 prospects, personally interviewed 18 individuals offered 8 positions, only four of which passed both the drug screen and criminal background check. Only 3 finished the training class. â?¢We train our technicians. Our technicians spend over three months in both hands on technical and classroom training as well as ride time in trucks with our senior technicians before they are allowed on the road. Training is constant and is overseen by my full time service manager. â?¢We have perfected our service truck inventory. My rolling stock is second to none in our industry. We show up with a fully stocked truck prepared to fix your issue the same day. This prevents you from having to take another day off from work. â?¢WARRANTY: on a full priced rebuild we warranty all parts for life, for as long as you live in the house. â?¢To retain key service personnel and minimize employee turnover we offer healthcare, 401K and a Sec 125 Cafeteria plan, most of our competitors do not. Tim was punctual, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. However, my overall experience with your company was definitely negative. I paid a premium to have your company do the work. I could have paid $XXX at Home Depot (I know that it would have been a subcontractor) to have the identical opener purchased and installed. Instead, I paid $XXX for your technician to do it, a premium of $XXX (minus a $XX coupon). I was okay with that, because I've been happy with your company in the past, and I was certain that the job would be done right. But, to then get hit with the $XX service call fee was a very unpleasant surprise. Whenever I've had electrical, plumbing, etc. work done, there's always been a service call fee, but it would be waived if I then had the technician do the repair or installation. I'm amazed that you charge that fee, when your technician was already at my home (he didn't have to make a return trip to do the job), it was a replacement of an existing opener (not an installation from scratch), and I'm paying a hefty premium.
