My technician Chris thoroughly inspected my garage doors and clearly explained what some of the problems were. He did not up sell any of the additional services provided by Precision. He was honest with the quote so I had him repair only 1 door. After 17 years of listening to springs and rollers rattle, the garage door now purrs like a kitten. Great job and great customer service!

Ryan Patrick Murphy was very polite upon introducing himself and the trainee with him. Once I informed him of our problem he proceeded to ask me several question that assisted him in determining the services needed to complete the repair to my satisfaction. He did not oversell and gave me options which once I selected he confirmed they would solve the malfunction of the garage door. The new key pad and the maintenance he performed left the garage door in great working condition.

Ferdinand (TK) installed our garage door openers and they have been working fine until the past few weeks. Apparently, the sensor was moved inadvertently and caused the door to not operate properly. TK fixed it within a few minutes. Thanks so much for your assistance.

The technician was on time, courteous and did quality work. Unfortunately I don't see where the replacement of these parts for one door cost $950. I was also interested in having the other door hardware upgraded but the cost is too high. I did research and these parts can be bought for less on line or at local hardware stores. To compare I bought and installed by myself two belt drive openers locally for less than this. This was the cost breakdown of the door rebuild Part Quantity Cost Total 1 1/8" 7x19 AC QUALITY OPERATING CABLES 1.00 $133.00 $133.00 2 3" CAST IRON PULLEY 4.00 $53.00 $212.00 3 4" PRECISION 13BB NYLON ROLLERS 10.00 $27.00 $270.00 4 1/8" 7x19 AC QUALITY SAFETY CABLES 1.00 $133.00 $133.00 5 HC 130 LB EXT SPRING YELLOW 2.00 $160.00 $320.00 6 #3 11GA HINGES 1.00 $0.00 $0.00 Sub-Total $899.00

When the Installer came to my house and looked at my Garage Door opener he said that it was prior to 1992 and he could not touch it and still charged me for the trip. If I had a company that would not work on equipment prior to a certain date, I would have the Individual who took the call and set up the appointment ask a simple question as to when the Door Opener was first Installed. When that person heard that the Door opener was installed in the 1980's they could have told me at that time that they could not work on my equipment. I think this Company does not ask the question so that when the repair person is on site they can try to upsell you a whole new Garage Door Opener for $699. I did not take that option and went to Lowes and bought a brand new opener for $179.00 and Installed it myself in about 4 Hrs.

Rarely do I experience this quality of customer service. Not only was Ryan courteous and patient, but he also “knew his stuff”. He explained the problem and how he was going to fix it. I hope when/if I should call Precision again, Ryan will be my service rep. Thank you Ryan!! Cheryl Whitsett

Super fast appointment. Everything was on the truck to replace the old opener. Chris was our technician and he was friendly, knowledgeable and super efficient. Even though I wasn't expecting to pay for a new setup, I thought the value was great. Thanks!
