From scheduling the technician to paying the invoice, Precision was amazing to deal with. Our technician, Bob Z was the most pleasant and professional person we'd met. Great communication; arrived on time. Gave an educated overview of what was needed (new springs, cables, pulleys and rollers) as well as options. He started right away and was very efficient. Our garage doors are now safe, quiet and fully functional (and the warranty on all the parts is great!) We highly recommend Precision.

I now have the MOST gorgeous garage doors!! Kenny from Precision arrived, completely took down everything -- doors, tracks, motors, keypads, etc. which were a mess and replaced with gorgeous steel white carriage doors, quite motor, wall keypads with time and temperature on them (as well as where a message would go in case of malfunction about what is wrong); I have motion sensors which light up the garage every time, and a back up battery so in case of power failure, the doors still will work. I let my husband come home and be surprised, and he was so excited! Thank you Precision! Reasonable prices, excellent workmanship!

We called Precision to help fix our opener, and to inspect the doors in general. I have to say our technician, Lou, did an outstanding job. Extremely knowledgable, polite, and patient. We have two younger children that were basically playing all around Lou while he was working, and he was nothing but smiles. Great experience, and thank you Lou.

He then performed the needed repairs quickly and expertly, describing each step along the way. When he was done he cleaned up all of the debris before leaving. Very professional and pleasant. I was very impressed with my service call today with Pete. My door was structurally broken on the top panel and he provided the service to fix it instead of trying to sell me a new door which is what I was afraid of. He offered to replace the one panel but gave me also the lower cost option to repair the existing panel. He notified me that my rollers should be replaced, showed me exactly why, and again gave me the option to do a total rebuild or replace just the rollers. After repairs, my door was operating safely, smoothly and with NO NOISE. I appreciated his honesty and willingness to help. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and explained everything fully. The response was immediate as advertised and the service technician was very professional. However, do your research before choosing this company as their mark up on parts in 100 percent plus. Educate yourself and get several competing quotes. Check www.angieslist.com for contractor reviews.

I find your advice to check Angies list very interesting. If you spend the money on Angie's list I think doing your research is a great idea. While searching for garage door contractors you would come across Precision Door and see we have won the SuperService award on Angie's list for the last three years. There is no other garage door company that has that kind of track record. The cheapest way to get anything in a home fixed is to do it yourself. If you decide to call a lower cost garage door contractor make sure they are licensed to work in the state of NJ and are a fully insured company with workers comp, liability insurance, automobile insurance as well as an umbrella policy. You may not realize, if a technician is injured in your home your home owners policy does not cover this. Do not allow a contractor to work in your home unless they provide documentation of this insurance. Best wishes, Whitiney

Have used Precision in the past and always pleased with service and this time was no different. Scheduled an appointment to have Precision check out one of our garage doors that was very loud sounding when closing and opening. Precision said tech would be here between 8am and 11am. Called early and identified himself as Erik. Arrived within 20 minutes of call. Explained his safety check which took about 20 minutes and said we needed to replace four rollers and both doors looked to be in good shape other than that. Gave me the price and it took him no longer than 30 minutes. I had a coupon for a free inspection so it helped. Nice job Erik to keep me up and running. Would highly recommend. Gene
