Although Precision Garage Door Service was not able to help me, they were super helpful. When I called, I was not aware the property had a commercial door. They made an immediate appointment for me regardless and the tech came out in less than 2 hours in the blistering cold. They even offered a free service call (no one else would do that). Once the appointment was confirmed, I received an email with the technician's photo and personal information to help identify them. It was a personable text that included his experience, education and hobbies, so I immediately felt comfortable. When the tech arrived, he confirmed he could not handle the repair of this door, but assured me he would research he could and contact me back within 5 minutes. Sure enough, in 5 minutes he called me back with two referrals and one also worked out same day (for a service fee). I am greatful to Precision for their professionalism and kindness during my urgent matter. From the salesperson I initially spoke to over the phone to the technician who showed up promptly, they were all so hospitable and truly showed what customer service is all about.

I had an older Craftsman opening system. The opener, remotes, keypad and sensors were no longer working so I contacted Precision. The repairman Sean arrived precisely at the scheduled time. He presented options and did not oversell. The new Genie opener included the keypad and remotes. The price for parts and labor was fair. Installation was done in under 2 hours. Everything was programmed, tested and explained and a manual was provided. The job was done professionally.

From the time we called for service until the time the truck left our driveway, everything was outstanding. Even after I replaced its battery, the remote control no longer opened or closed the garage door. By the way, the door in question is to the bay in which the wife (BOSS) parks. So, BOSS found Precision in one of those coupon booklets you receive by mail and scheduled a Service Call. As is the case with any contractor we consider, the burden of interacting with the technician of Precision who arrived at our house fell on my shoulders (and is something I, generally, dread). Of course, and with good reason, I was ready, on the offensive, just waiting to explode on the guy if he went down that dead-end street of trying to sell me any unnecessary service or product. In fact, although with one thing I did not appreciate, upon which I expounded, below, overall, the technician who arrived was very polite, patient, and, seemingly, honest, without stressing the importance of buying any unnecessary service or item. Further, what I appreciate the most, and applaud Precision for its approach-on, is the utter lack of any B.S. given by the technician, based on "fear," such as that all 3 units to the garage doors needed to be replaced or, worse yet, all 3 garage structures needed to be totally demolished and rebuilt as they are separating from the main structure of the house, causing unbelievable water damage behind the sheet-rock, and resulting in the growth of mold, mildew, and even magic mushrooms, which my 11 year old daughter would definitely eat, one day, and which only he, with his superior sight, honed after years of experience and schooling, is able to see, or when the garage structure eventually separates entirely from the main house, which will be any day now, electric wires that carry enough voltage to kill a herd of elephants would be whipping around in the air, out of control, and lock-onto, and go after, my 11 year old, burning her hair off, permanently, causing her to suffer life-long PTSD. Instead, and to my surprise, after the technician diagnosed the issue, he suggested various options, with price ranges that were reasonable and feasible (lest we forget, the BOSS does NOT like to spend a penny even when it comes to basics such as our ability to ingress or egress the house). The technician was very courteous and explained what each option entailed. As alluded-to, above, though, the one thing I did not appreciate was the technician's withholding of or hesitancy in volunteering certain discounts available to us. Instead, I had to probe and pry these out of him (I am certain that this strategy is not of his choosing, but others's, and, basically, the technician is following orders.) Once I began asking, though, the technician did not hold back, going as far as conducting research on-line on his tablet to find even more savings for us, all of which significantly reduced the initial estimate of costs. Realizing I was sold and committed, the technician upgraded the system to one of higher quality, without increasing the cost. I gave him the "thumbs-up" to commence with the job, along with a G-Note as a tip, and left for work. (Hopefully, the BOSS will not see this review and discover said tip.) Upon my return home, the BOSS had a HUGE smile on her face, standing at the threshold of the door leading into our house and demonstrating the smooth opening and closing of the garage door for me. For a second, I actually thought I might get some tonight, which is another positive aspect of Precision's, notwithstanding it lasted a second and was imaginary. Although "getting some tonight" from the BOSS was wishful thinking on my part (as I got none), what we did get from Precision is: an awesome, quiet, fast garage door opener; all new pulleys; new springs; new wires; new nylon chain; a new wall panel; a new wall button to open and close the door; and, 2 remote controls. What's better, and unbelievable, is that we got all these, along with peerless service, at a very reasonable cost, without any pain, literally, to our a_ses.
