We enjoy our new garage doors. The workmanship is great and the installation team (Kenny and Gerard) did a great job. Very professional. They are an asset to your business. However, the LiftMaster doors openers are another issue. They are a disappointment in my mind. They have an engineering defect in that they do not work with your car's HomeLink. They need an additional repeater device attached in order for your car's HomeLink to work with the door opener. Apparently, at LiftMaster they have bozo engineers that crafted a new 2.0 security code that will not work with the standard that all car manufactures use. Thus, the repeater interface. Along with this terrible design, you need to press the HomeLink Key in your car for up to 5 seconds before the door responds. If at all. And finally, the lift device does not have any outlet installed to plug in the repeater. Use another brand of Garage Door Opener.

The technicians arrived @1:15 pm which was within the 12-4pm schedule which was given to me. They arrived in a clearly marked truck with the name of PRECISION on the side. The technician called me about 15 minutes before their arrival they were dressed in very professional uniforms. I needed service for a broken chain on my existing door. The tech advised me that the chain broke due to bad motor bushing which made the chain fall off. He also told me that the door needed to be replaced and exactly how much it would cost to replace it. I gave him the OK to replace and take away the old pieces which they did. They had the new opener on the truck and took about 1 1/2 hours to complete the whole job. This whole experience was very pleasant and I would recommend and use your company for any garage door, opener related problems in the future. THANK YOU Joseph N. L

My Mom called Precision Door on July 2nd, and they told her that they would be there the next day between Noon and 5. Sure enough , Ron showed up on time. He explained to Mom and me (on the phone) the problem and how much it would cost to fix. Mom opted for a new opener (old one was over 12 years old) and I supported her decision. We had to leave before installation was complete, but Ron explained to us how to operate the opener before we left. Ron gets a thumbs up from Mom and me. You were recommended by Norge, Union Blvd in Totowa, You are the only company we called, we never did a comparison, so I am hoping that you gave us a good price. If we find out that you did we will recommend it to friends, since we live in an adult community with over 600 units. If on the other hand I find out that we were overcharged, the outcome will be different. Your sales person was very knowledgeable. PS. My wife was a little sceptable, since we originally purchased a keypad and two remotes at Norge for only $XX.00 and I have the bill to prove it. Now we had to get a new keypad and two remotes costing more than having to put a new board in and now the new remote and keypad is universal, my wife thinks that is a shame.

I am very pleased with the service of Precision over the last 11 years. Today Brandon came to my home because of remote controlled garage opener problems. He ordered the parts and arranged for another serviceman to come back on Wednesday. Brandon did everything he could but didn't have the (older) parts on his truck. Your sales rep was great and the guy who installed the doors was very nice but left cigarette butts, a Ton of screws and other little metal pieces from the installation all over the ground, is pieces of glass from Our old windows in the garage doors, and pieces of wood from the old doors- all over the ground.

Rich was very conscientious in rebuilding my garage door which is 56 years old. He said we will receive a lifetime warranty on the door since both springs were replaced,both pulleys replaced, bearing replaced and all rollers replaced as well. In January 2013 we had a new lift motor installed by Precision which is so very quiet when compared to the previous motor. Any additional repairs will be at no cost as long as we remain at the residence Your service has always been prompt and timely which is very much appreciated .

Michael Ganning was the Precision Door Service representative who visited us today. Prior to meeting with Mike, we were undecided as to whether we would have our existing door opener repaired or if we would replace the opener as well as the door. Mike carefully explained the processes relative to both scenarios. He was fully knowledgeable on all aspects of repair vs. replacement and he was able to answer all of our questions. Aftr careful consideration, we opted to go for the the latter. Michael knows his job well, his company and his product "inside and out!" He is a fine representative of Precision Door Service. Pete came, replaced my rollers as expected and informed me that my pully's also needed some attention. After speaking with him about my options I decided to go with the rebuild package. By the time I called them it was late Sunday afternoon and it was too late to get an appointment for the same day. However, they scheduled me for the first thing Monday morning.It was a rather simple repair.The track got out of alignment when the car caught the garbage can which somehow caused the tracking to bend. Tim was able to fix it quickly. But he also gave me a thorough report of the condition of the door which was useful. I was very pleased with the service.
