I was told the service call would be 69.00 plus parts.I did not need any parts but i did need an adjustment.I was then charged 69.00 plus a labor rate of 85.00.I was never told about this.Although the service was very good, felt like I was mislead on the cost of the service call.I might not call again because of this.

Dear Mr Finnerty, Thank you for reviewing our business. I'm sorry for the confusion. We do have a service charge for coming out to your house of 69 dollars. It is charged to help cover the high cost of sending a qualified technician to your home. For that 69 dollars he will do a 18 point written safety inspection, tighten all loose hardware and lubricate the door. Normally we will then give a written quote to replace parts that are broken. The price we give you for the parts is an installed price. We don't have an additional labor cost. In your case because no new parts were needed to fix the problem a labor charge was necessary. We need to be more clear on the phone so you are not surprised in person. As a token of faith I would like to offer you a free service call in the future. Just tell the office about this review. I had a complete garage door overhaul in June. The door began to make unusual noises. Scott McDonald came to assess the problem. He was a very polite technician. He looked over the door thoroughly and explained the reason for the noise. Scott corrected the problem. He thanked me for the business and apologized for the problem. He proved to be a loyal and considerate employee for the Precision Door Service Company.

Garage door opener repair that wound up being worse than anticipated. Decided to replace opener due to age and most of the hardware since that was the culprit for opener failure. Kyle worked diligently and got the job done. They may charge more than some places, but they warrantied everything for life, so you may not need to buy another one ever again.

I am writing to you as a response to the service I recently received from your company on Friday, December 16, 2011. Unfortunately, there was no response card in the folder I received from the technician upon completion of the needed repairs. LAck of the card not only delayed my response, but I was unsure as to where I should mail this letter. I am happy to say that the entire service was excellent from start to finish. The telephone operator who took the original call was pleasant and efficient. The service technician (Tim) was scheduled to arrive in mid-afternoon. I was pleasantly surprised to receive his call telling me he could be to my home before 11 A.M. Upon arrival, he too was pleasant and personable. It was easy to see that he was experienced and knowledgeable-not only in door repair but also in how to interact with customers. He waited patiently while I called my husband to discuss what needed to be done and the cost of the work. He also clearly explained any available discounts, (AAA), and methods of payment. Most of all, Tim did not try to pressure us into any parts that we did not want or need to complete our job. (We did feel the price was quite high at $1,188.36, but we felt we got a good product and fast service for the necessary repair and replacement. The price might be the only drawback in recommending the company to friends and relatives for whom the price might be too high). Upon my approval to begin replacement of the door opener and its' accompanying hardware, Tim went to work immediately and had the job completed in a little over 90 minutes. When the job was finished, I was highly satisfied with the job (as was my husband when he returned home from work that evening). As promised, we received a fully itemized bill of all parts and labor as well as a complete explanation of the warrantees. To say the least we are highly satisfied. Should we need your services again in the future, we will not hesitate to call you.

Liz Prieto is the property owner. Richard Cash and Craig Ross are the tenants. Brandon is the best!! He was here in July to replace rollers/cables/springs and we were 100% happy with the service he provided. When we had a problem with the system that actually pulls the door open (sprocket broke, chain drooped), we called and requested Brandon. Once again, he was super friendly, efficient and explained the different options we had. This guy rocks and I'd recommend him to anyone that needs garage opener repairs or installation.

Justin did a wonderful job. He sold me on more than I initially wanted, but did a great job. With a "rebuild", my 50 years old garage door is as good as new. Justin had a great disposition, was courteous, and honest. I would highly recommend this place if you have a garage door problem.
