I was very disappointed with Precision's service. I had a repair issue because of a broken cable, and instead of fixing what was broken they wanted to replace everything and charge $XXX! If the customer just wants a repair, give the customer what they want! And for that they charge a $XX service fee!

Dave, Thank you for your feedback. I had a discussion with your technician. He told me that your door was in an unsafe state. In particular, he told me that your bottom panel was rotted and would need to be replaced. I know you have elected to have no work done and have replaced the individual broken cable. Of course this your prerogative, however, we would never recommend you do this. Stainless steel cables do not break because of the weight of the door. Cables break because they are dragging through pulleys that are not turning or rubbing against something they shouldn't be. The best way to fix a door in this condition would be to rebuild the hardware and change the bottom section or replace the entire door. Tim recommended this to you and you have elected not to do it. The $69 service fee we quoted you before coming out to the house is not conditional of whether we do the work or not. I have reached out to you twice on the telephone to discuss this with you further. My goal is to have 100% customer satisfaction. If you call me back, I will make that happen. Regards.

My wife and I have lived in New Jersey for approximatley 5 years and had no garage door issues until yesterday. Not having any knowledge of who to call, I looked on the web to see who did service in our area. After looking at several sites, I was very impressed with your web site, first,with the strong focus on customer service and second, I was pleased to see the photo of your Technicians and the fact that all were clean-cut and neatly dressed. I felt that gave me insight into the character of the company and made the decision easy on who to call for service. The Technician who came was excellent. I have already given yhour name to two friends for if/or when they need garage door service.

We were very pleased with the quality of the garage door and the opener. We were also very pleased with the installer, Sam. He was very professional, quick, and left the garage and driveway very clean. He was also extremely accommodating, helping us to set up our car remotes and programing the remote key pad. He also spent time making sure we knew exactly how to operate the door and how to remove the window grates. The whole experience was very pleasant and very much worth the cost.

Our technician, Tim, did an excellent job explaining what caused our previous garage door openers to fail and thoroughly explained our options for replacements and needed repairs. Having fully stocked service vehicles worked out great as we were able to get both openers replaced and the doors repaired on the same day without the need to schedule a follow up appointment. Tim also saw to it that all of our remotes were successfully programmed before he left, providing over-all great service.

He called in advance of arriving at the job and showed up on time to replace & install two new garge door openers.
