5***** Lou R installed my garage door opener in July. He was extremely professional, as well as personable. He took great care to explain and show me what he was doing. He return this month to fix the sensor that I had knocked off the door frame. Again, Lou called first, arrived on time, corrected the problem and fixed it so I can't create the same problem again. Great company, great technicians and great service.

We chose Precision because the name came up when we looked for the original installer, Overhead Door. A big plus was that you sent someone out on Sunday. Our garage door repair included replacing and various moving parts. The technician, P. Orlando, was competent and professional. His manner was friendly. He answered all questions and explained what he was going to do and why. We see competence in how the company is run. The service was most satisfactory; we recommended Precision to a friend. Rating: 5.

It is always so satisfying to deal with a good company, and Precision was just that. It was reassuring to be able to know exactly who was going to be showing up at your door, and the excellent reviews of my service person were spot on. He was friendly, polite, professional - pretty great, really! I called on a Saturday afternoon, and by Monday evening, had working garage doors. I would recommend this company to anyone.

I called Precision for their hours of operation. My daughter came home from school and called me to say the door almost fell on her as she walked into the garage. Precision gave me a repair time that was not at all convenient and I asked for a different time. I was immediately given a time which was agreeable. I was told the technician would call me on his way to the job. I received two phone calls from Lou, first when he was on route to his next job and again after he assessed the job to give me an ETA. He was prompt, courteous, and professional. He installed new cables and replaced rollers. The night was freezing, and his personality deserved a coffee from Dunkin Donuts to warm him up!

I chose Precision TODAY because I was speaking to my neighbors over the weekend and they told me they had called and made an appt for one of your service people to come today and fix -- replace -- I believe, their door. Their door was BROKEN. My door wasn't broken but it was SO NOISY that when I got home late, I didn't even put my car in the garage, the door made so much noise . . . and I went into my house via the front door. So I decided to speak to your guy, Pete, while he was at my neighbors. It turned out he had time to check and fix my door as well today. He was professional, friendly, explained what the problem was, offered options to address it, I chose the option, he was able to do it, and was done -- no time wasted. I was very impressed with Pete's professionalism, knowledge and willingness to share information . . . not to mention that the door is now so quiet, I can barely hear it in motion. I'm happy to give you/Pete a 5-star review. Your menu doesn't let me choose all the products that I purchased today. They are cables, pulleys, rollers, and springs. Thanks so much!

My technician was Lou R. He kept me informed as to his arrival status, was polite, informative and qualified. The door was repaired and given a tune up and functions well now. I was glad to have the door fixed as it was causing me a major hassle. I see no reason that I would not recommend precision to others.

Andrew N was wonderful today. My appointment was set between 1:00pm and 5:00pm, he called after he finished his previous appointment to let me know he could come earlier if it worked out for me and of course it did. When he arrived he provided me with an explanation of why I had an issue with my garage door and how he could fix it. He was done within an hour. Will definitely use PDSNJ again and will be referring them as well. Thanks Andrew!

Garage doors were nice quality and ordering, delivery and installation went smoothly. I was not pleased that the handles and locks on each door were a 1/3 of the way over from the side of the door rather than centered on the door. We were told it was because of the fact that this door came in 4 panels and had to be cut down to 3 panels to fit the frame. Being that our garage faces the back of our home it is not too big of an issue. If these doors were delivered and our garage faced the front of our house I would have sent them back. I truly believe we should have been made aware of this situation when we ordered the doors and we might have chosen a different model. It does look a bit strange. I generally walk every day and I've been taking time to look at garage doors. I honestly can't say that I've seen any with the handles/locks off center.

I received your name from Angie's List advertising. I read some of the reviews and felt confident about calling you. I needed general maintenance on the door and rollers, stripping etc. The technician was prompt and polite. Drew was very helpful to let me know what I needed and did not need now. I will be calling you at the end of March to set up replacing my door stripping.

I give you the worst review. If fix my garage door two weeks ago and it broke down again and you told me you could not come out immediately and my car is trapped in my garage and the schedule could not be adjusted to accommodate me

Chris was my technician and he is an outstanding representative of your company. He is very knowledgeable and sells your products and service very professionally. I would give 5 stars on his service alone. However, the company gets 4 stars because I feel the charges are a bit excessive. I plan to look on line for the wholesale price of the motor that was installed.

As always, service was impeccable and I will use Precision again. Tim the technician not only arrived early, but was very thorough in explaining how and why the repair was needed. The only complaint I have is that the price for the replacement part was very high. Understanding the price of that would have made me feel better.

It was a real pleasure using Precision Door Service. I called the 800 number for service and within 5 minutes had an appointment with a 4 hour window and the assurance that the tech would call me when he was 30 minutes away so I did not need to sit in my house and wait. This was all confirmed by an immediate email giving me all the information I needed. I received a call from Kevin N. when he was 30 minutes away and met him at my house where he was waiting for me. The fact I had a picture of him was nice especially if it was my wife waiting to meet him. Kevin quickly evaluated my door and went through all the options for repair, the cost of each and his professional opinion of what I should do and why. He made the decision process quite easy. Kevin then did the repair. In less than an hour he was he was all finished and my garage door was as good as new. He cleaned up perfectly, made sure I understood exactly what he did and what I was charged for. He gave me his card if there was any problem and he was on his way. I would never call anyone but Precision for a garage door problem again and I would request that Kevin come and do the work.
