I had used Precision to fix our garage door mechanisms in our previous house in Randolph, so when the lifting cable snapped in our new home I didn’t hesitate to use them again. Ethan gave options of what could be done to fix the problem as well as, at my request, sort out the noisy 2nd garage door. We discussed options and I am happy with the one I went with. Both doors now operate smoothly and the noisy door is now very quiet. Rollers replaced on the noisy door and springs and cables replaced on the other door. Ethan took the time to show me maintenance lube points to keep things moving smoothly. Happy customer.

My husband and I just moved into a beautiful house in West Orange and found that our garage door opener was not working properly. Ethan, who had been assigned to help us with our problem, was great. He found that the device was very old and gave us the option to replace it or have it fixed for the time being. We opted for the latter and he skillfully and swiftly fixed the problem. The company itself is very professional; Rob, the service manager, let us know that we would be alerted before Ethan's arrival. It took a couple of visits to get the issue resolved. In less than one year we required two visits on a new opener. The culprit was the new design of the sprocket which was causing the belt to be offline and cause the loud knocking sound. Precision replaced that part with an old part from an older motor. The dust guard could not be installed due to the shape of the part, but our garage is clean - told not an issue. It's not Precision's fault that LiftMaster has a design fault, but LiftMaster should provide replacement parts at not cost - like a recall. it's a problem. May need to not sell that product, but appreciate the Precision resolution at no charge and saving of the motor and belt before things got worse.
