Setting up an appointment (same day) was simple and efficient; communication was great following the initial call. My repairmen, John Fahey, was knowledgeable and friendly. He laid out a few options and went through the pros and cons of each. I initially chose to have a new garage door opener system installed and to replace all of the hardware as a large spring and cable had failed. The electrical hook up was not ideal for the new system so we opted just to replace the hardware. Although I did not get a quote from other garage repair/installation companies, I did search the price of the components installed. The mark-ups seemed pretty high compared to the prices online (even including a $200/hour installation fee). I would love a company that sold the parts at cost or a modest premium and then charged $200/hour for service, though I do not believe that is typical in this industry or similar industries (e.g. AC repair/installation).

I requested 1st appointment. They called and let me know when they would arrive. John Fahey diagnosed the issues and replaced various parts and gave me several options to choose from. Work was done in a timely manner and John was very professional and explained everything before installing and then leaving.

Pro Booking online: fast and easy, my requested time was easily available with several time slot options. Frequent text reminder, a plus. Day of service: Reminder sent via text, with name of serviceman, tracking of vehicle and its arrival lessened the anxiety and frustration of having to wait for an entire 4-5 hour window. Serviceman: Alan R arrived 5 minutes ahead of schedule, very professional and when he saw the problem, he also added some more items of concern but without any sales pressure. Job: He said the job can be done in 2 hours and he was right on the dot. He then explained his work in detail, and showed a very operational garage door at the end of the job. Con Price: I was surprised $$$ but accepted the price because I felt the job and experience was very good, but the invoice did not show the breakdown of the parts and labor cost so I would know the prevailing and comparable cost from other contractors. I must say, Calling Precision to address my garage door opener was the right choice. From a previous service call, when they installed a new garage door opener, 6 years ago, the service then was excellent. Today, Ricky Christensen, came to adjust a separate door opener and he gave me several options on how to remedy my problem. He was polite and displayed professionalism in his assessment to execute the repair. Ricky represented Precision in a way that if he comes to anyone else, you can be assured Ricky will perform his assignment 100%

Yesterday, I had an issue with my garage door, it would not open fully and remained immobile despite repeated attempts to open the garage door with the single button mounted externally on the side of the garage. So I called Precision Garage Door Service yesterday and the customer care agent was able to schedule an appointment for the next day. Mr. Alan Ramirez- service technician arrived this morning and did an assessment- Upon inspection, he found a snap cable and recommended all internal parts- rollers, cables and spring cables be replaced as they have maxed out their longevity. He was very professional and completed the work in 45 minutes. Thank you Alan and Precision Garage Door Service! Highly recommend this company!

We had a cable break on our garage door. Being new to the area, we didn’t know who to call. Looking at our local Facebook page, Precision was recommended. I called on Thursday afternoon, and they scheduled a tech for Friday morning. The tech was very friendly and knowledgeable. He assessed both doors since he was here, gave us his assessment and the options for both. We had the repair done, as well as a higher end maintenance on the door we use several times a day, and a more middle level maintenance done on the door we only use to get our lawnmower out of the garage. He performed the work same day. It was quite a relief as we were having a party the next day, and we use the garage entrance quite often for us and guests. We will definitely reach out in the future if the need arises.

Thomas Sackmann was a professional, personable, courteous and obviously competent technician. He asked what we thought the problem might be and about the coupon and proceeded with the maintenance check. He said everything was working, but since the motor was put in (by Precision 2007) we could consider putting in a new one and the springs also were fine, but old. Discussed with my siblings and decided for the middle motor of the three choices and to also do the springs. He told me the total plus the time it would take and was told to go ahead. After completion Thomas checked everything to see that it worked properly. Reset the keypad and two remotes. He was a pleasure and efficient. You are the company who installed the original garage door and a second door when it was hit by a car. We are more than satisfied with Precision's work.
