Dave did a very professional and proficient job. The repair exceeded my expectations. He even found several items that were dangerously worn and would have broken in the near future. I have reached a point in my life where I think Customer Service no longer exists --- then I called Precision Garage Door. I will admit, I hate the voice prompts one has to go through to get to a human, however, once past that everything was amazing. My appointment was arranged quickly for the next day, and pretty much to "my convenience". This only happens when you're not waiting - I had a previous appointment , James showed up at the beginning of the 2 hour window (and wasn't that so much better, a 2 hour window, not 4 or 6) and unfortunately my appointment was running late, but he waited. He offered a couple of solutions, explaining each. Once I made my decision he set to work. He was quick, efficient and neat. James was a very pleasant, articulate individual and had an answer for all my questions. I wouldn't hesitate to call Precision again if I needed too, and I highly recommend this "customer" focused business.

I had used Precision to fix our garage door mechanisms in our previous house in Randolph, so when the lifting cable snapped in our new home I didn’t hesitate to use them again. Ethan gave options of what could be done to fix the problem as well as, at my request, sort out the noisy 2nd garage door. We discussed options and I am happy with the one I went with. Both doors now operate smoothly and the noisy door is now very quiet. Rollers replaced on the noisy door and springs and cables replaced on the other door. Ethan took the time to show me maintenance lube points to keep things moving smoothly. Happy customer.

It took a couple of visits to get the issue resolved. In less than one year we required two visits on a new opener. The culprit was the new design of the sprocket which was causing the belt to be offline and cause the loud knocking sound. Precision replaced that part with an old part from an older motor. The dust guard could not be installed due to the shape of the part, but our garage is clean - told not an issue. It's not Precision's fault that LiftMaster has a design fault, but LiftMaster should provide replacement parts at not cost - like a recall. it's a problem. May need to not sell that product, but appreciate the Precision resolution at no charge and saving of the motor and belt before things got worse.
