After 50 yrs, the time had come when our 2 garage doors were due for some routine maintenance and we were due for some mechanical assistance. I found this website most informative, gave PGD a call and Drew appeared that afternoon. We decided that it was time to replace the moving parts - rollers, cables, pulleys, etc and settled on a pair of LM8550's. The overhead tracks were at different heights and would require differences in mounting hardware. Drew reappeared a following morning and the two rebuilds and installations were completed in 4 hours. One of the simple pleasures of home ownership is discovering folks who can do a job right the first time round. Kudos to Drew and best wishes to Drew and Brittany.

My remote door opener wasn't working properly. I requested technician Tim R. because he did a great job installing my new door opener unit last year. Tim arrived on time and fixed the problem within a short time. He replaced the defective batteries in the remote and the opener worked fine. Tim also explained to me other things that may interfere with the remote functioning that I was not aware of. If I have any other problems with the opener in the future I will definitely request Tim again.

I saw an ad on Angie's List and heard some other advertisement and thought why not. My one garage door opener had stopped working and the other was reaching the end of its life. James (your tech) called ahead to let me know what time he would be arriving which was wonderful. The price for the service and product I received was right on par. James was very professional and knowable; I was impressed with the work he did and the speed in which it was done. I love that your truck is fully stocked and even though it was just the rollers that were originally going to be replaced I was able to have both openers replaced on the spot. Itâ??s a great sales technique but I have no buyerâ??s remorse. I love my new openers and would highly recommend your services to any of my friends or family. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

James and Brad helped fix one of the garage doors that was not closing or shutting down. I had the house power washed and think one of the sensors may have taken the brunt of the water pressure. Regardless, they both were very professional and helpful and fixed the problem on the spot. After they left I noticed that the Keypad and the remote key were not working. I called them and they came back with a few minutes. They reset the system and now everything seems to be working fine.

Tim R was my service technician today.The garage door pad needed to be replaced. Tim was able to diagnose the problem immediately and explained what needed to be done. He was friendly and patient with any question I had. It was a pleasure having Precision Door Service techs do the job quickly. They are also a very reliable company. I am very pleased with the service I received yesterday. I needed the main back up battery for the motor replaced and the office personnel gave me an appointment for the day I requested. Bob Z. Called 1/2 hour before he came and was there promptly at the time he said he would be here. The battery was changed in 5 minutes and he also silicone sprayed the channels for the door and changed the battery on the outside key pad. He was very cordial and answered some questions that I had about the door . I had this door installed by Precision and am very pleased with its safety factors and reliability. I would recommend their company to anyone. Thank you so much for your prompt service!

Your website and procedures were excellent and your service tech was professional and courteous. However, the cost of your services were way to high...$400 to repair the set of springs on the a door is just too much..I have done this myself in the past and it takes me under an hour to complete. I guess I will be doing it myself again this weekend.

Dear Mr. Papa, Thank you for your kind words. Fixing things yourself is always the cheapest way to do things. Allow me to provide you with a few tips since you decided to do this job yourself. Most springs from your big box stores come with a 2,000 cycle rating which may be why your spring has broken again. Try to go online and find a high cycle spring of at least 25,000 cycles so you do not experience the same spring inconvenience in the near future. If you are unable to find this type of spring please call us and we would be happy to provide this for you with a lifetime warranty as long as you live in your home. You will never have to fix this yourself again.
